I My Car Got Defected.... Please Help!
Bass Junky replied to EVILTD's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Confirm the pod thing. If you have a good read of the Vic Road regs, it actually mentions that a Pod filter doesn't need to be boxes on EFI cars past a certain date. I believe the paper/foam/cotton filters used to be a risk of having fuel from the carby soak them and then ignite. I believe the 1 intake mod thing is still applicable though. You can either have a Pod filter or an intercooler. Have a good read before you do anything. -
How Accurate Is The R34 Factory Boost Guage?
Bass Junky replied to SS8_Gohan's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Hey guys. My Factory gauge is starting to act up. It will occasionally drop off to no reading for a few minutes and come back randomly. I will most likely be replacing the factory boost/volt/oil temp gauges with some Defi-Link gauges in the near future. Will hide the gauges in behind the stock cover. I think only the 52mm will fit inside, but the 60mm will fit on the outside of the housing, but that's too easy to see, hence steal. Anybody else every tried this? I've seen pics, but never seen it in person. BASS OUT -
R34 Parts, Clean Out
Bass Junky replied to Bass Junky's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Bumpity Bump. Coil Packs, clutches, indicators etc still available. The clutch only needs a new friction plate and a machine and it's a $1200 unit. BASS OUT -

ahh_33_s2 nope, you are in. Drivebai... nope, $25 is the normal freight cost. You need to pay the $80 for the guide and $25 for postage. IF you live in some very remote area and it costs $37 to post the guide to you (which has happened once before) I'll let you know. Just keep the payments coming in and I'll start getting the guides made. NizmoFreek... I'll fix up my PayPal stuff tonight at some stage. BASS OUT -

Hi ppls Now is the time. The group buy is ready to go. When most payments are received, I can order the Laser Cutting. Laser Cutting will take about 5-6 working days. Then I have to get them bent. Bending should take a few days, depending on the work load of my subcontractors. Once they are bent, they then get taken to the powder coaters. Normally that’s a three day exercise. After that, I’ll need a week or so pack the little buggers. They are each individually bubble wrapped and packed to avoid any damage. This takes bloody ages! Then I have to figure a way of get boxes that are 950mm x 150mm x 250mm into a skyline with any sort of efficiency…… Stupid coupes. I would allow 4-5 weeks total, but hopefully much less. So, you need to transfer the appropriate amount into my account according to the list below. R33 GTS-T Series I, R33 GTS-T Series II, R33 GTR Series III All $80 R34 GTT Series I Standard Front Bar, R34 GTT Series I Nismo Aero Front Bar All $80 Stagea Series I $120 with scoop Stagea Series I $90 without scoop Stagea Series II $120 with scoop Stagea Series II $90 without scoop Add to this the $25 of freight. As mentioned previously, if you are in a remote area, I may require an additional payment of freight, but this has happened only 3 or 4 times over the last year or so of my group buys. I allow $15 for Australia Post component, the test goes into the custom made boxes, bubble wrap, tape, tape gun blah blah blah. Obviously if you are in Melbourne, we can arrange pickup. Deposit Details. Peter N Blythe Bank of Melbourne, Westpac BSB: 733382 ACC: 586817 Amount $varies Reference : Username Once you have paid please send me an e-mail to [email protected] The e-mail should contain the following information. First Name, Surname Street Address Suburb, State, postcode Mobile Number Copy of deposit reference. The package goes normal freight and so the delivery address should be somewhere that you will be during the day over the next 2-4 days depending on your location. I have had them arrive overnight, I have also had them arrive 6-7 days later (Perth and Darwin) Then you sit patiently for a few weeks by the letter box with your 12mm ring spanner eagerly awaiting the Air Guide Stag people will need to add four Button Head Cap Screws, 8 washers and a spring washer to the kit to allow them to bolt on the scoop. You can use black or Stainless Steel. It’s up to you. Anywho. Get paying and I’ll get making! BASS OUT! -

Hey guys. I wont be offering the engraving this time. It cost me more last time than I charged people and the place I get them engraved is no longer at the end of the street where I work, cos I don't work there any more. The buy will be going ahead. I just haven't had a chance to write up the e-mail to you all. sit tight and I'll be able to do it at lunch today or after the committee meeting tonight. BASS OUT -
Hey ppls, We are discussing this at the committee meeting tonight and will inform people of what's going on tomorrow. Needless to say, this is going to be the bestest BBQ trailer in the world!

Gemma and I used to party pretty hard back in the day, and there was a big party called Wild Things 2 at Kryal Castle. I was part of the organisation crew that ran the party (I ran the trance part) and that was where Gemma and I got together. We had known each other before then for a while. So yeah, Wild Things Chilli. I love Chilli. For anyone interested in where I got the Chilli.... I got it from the Red Back Chilli Company in Jindivik. Great cruise road there actually, might organise a cruise to the Chilli Farm one day. www.redbackchilli.com.au I dare you to eat the "Pleasure and Pain" Chilli.... It's evil. BASS OUT

Hey guys. I need a quick hand.... Some of the guide I sent out required an extra hole or two drilled in the mounting section for oil coolers or something similar. Can you please do me a favour and measure from the centre of the left hand mounting bolt to the centre of the oil cooler mounting bolt? I am doing another group buy and want to get them stop on. Same goes for anyone with an R33 Skyline who needed an extra bolt.... Cheers guys BASS OUT

New Zealand people. I can ship to New Zealand. Shouldn't be a problem with normal Aust Post. I would send registered and would need to quote each freight individually. Payments could either be direct to my account via the net, or Pay Pal. I've never paid anything internationally from my account, so I'm not sure how it works but I'm sure we can figure it out. I've got heaps of peolpe is this group buy, so we can surely get started. I'll be waiting until Tuesday to close it off, but after that, I'll start asking for payments. Cheers BASS OUT -
Hey Hey. Thanks SK. I"m actually about to proceed with another group buy at the moment. Anyone who is interested should let me know in the thread in my Sig. I'll need to know by the end of the week. Probably close the group buy on Tuesday. Cheers Pete

Hey ppls. We have confirmed that we will be using the half cut of Dave's car. Please see this thread is you have a 1/4 panel, rear bar or tail light. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...p;#entry3010036 BASS OUT

Hey ppls. As you may know, we are building an SAUVic BBQ trailer of epic proportions. It's going to be an R33 GTS-T rear end half cut. Silva33 is donating his busted car to the cause. However, it's going to need the following parts straight off the bat to get moving. Right hand rear quarter panel. Rear bar, no fussed what type, standard would be good, aftermarket or fibreglass even better. Right side (drivers side) tail light. Eventually we are going to need other stuff too like a huge wing, stereo, speakers, maybe an amp and subs, esky, gas bottle, etc etc. But right now, we need the quarter panel, rear bar and tail light. So, who is willing to donate to the cause? BASS OUT
