  5. They said they put a little sumint sumint into it to give it a bit more pop, but nothing special. Nothing you wouldn't be able to easily match at any time. I saw it in the sun for a few minutes this arvo, it's even better when it's sunny!!
  6. The paint is all stock but it's as smooth a virgin's boob. It's just beatiful. I dont want to drive it now. I work in Dandenong and the dust off all the freeway works coats the car every day. I wonder how long it would take to ride a bike from Doncaster East to Dandenong ????
  7. Thanks Al!! We will make a red wine drinker out of you.
  8. I'm just glad to be back driving the damn thing. I've been driving my Boss's 200sx for the time that mine has been off the road. That period of time was meant to be like two to three weeks. Thanks to Nissan the new bonnet didn't arrive in time for Christmas so the whole car didn't get sprayed until Tuesday or Wednesday last week. The 200sx is a nice car, it's a lot better than you would normally hope for as a loaner, but I tell you what, I'm SO glad to be back in mine. It's just a lot sharper. And I can't stop running the back of my hand accross it. She's lovely. How much does it cost, well, if you were to pay for it probably about $4,500 - $6,000 depending on paint and how much work to do to get the car straight. Mine was paid for mainly by insurance with a little put in by me. Bec... I'm writing this from the car, doona in the passenger seat
  9. Just picked her up. STILL waiting on the East Bear parts, but the rest of the car is Mickey Mouse. A couple of pics I took at lunchtime.....
  10. dan_the_man I had a little shunt, had to replace the rear bar, rear panel, bumper re-inforcement, and spray the whole rear end. To spray the whole rear end you also have to spray right over the roof and down the A pillers, as it's one section of steel. My damage was HARDLY visibled, but the repair did need to be performed. Total cost was $7,300. The accident I see above needs rear bar rear panel boot panel brake lights x 2 boot both quarter panels bar reinforcement window seals x 2 The remove and refit on those parts alone is going to be $10k Then there's the labour to pull the car straight etc etc. I put a beer on Write off. Sorry man.
  11. Hurry up and Pay, I need $510 in two days! Bank payment preferred to cash. If I have cash, it dissappears...... Car goes faster, but money go bye bye
  12. = $10k repair bill before you can even blink..... I hear East Bear body kits are really nice.....
  13. Yeah, I might come .......
  14. SeriesII Nobody has the range of guides that I do I can have it powdercoated in red or blue, but this might take a little longer and cost a little more. The black is a standard colour and is done almost everyday, the other colours they have to wait until a whole batch is ready. Or, I can supply it bare and you can coat it however you like. In regards to your front bar, I'm not sure about the fitment. Can you send a pic of the front of your car with the bonnet up, much like the photos in the first post of this thread? I'm sure one will suit, may need some modding, but nothing that can't be done with an angle grinder.
  15. Godzilla In my experience, unless you are going to chop up your rear bar to fit 6x9 or 7x10 speakers, I would spend the money in the following way. HIGH end front splits with sound deadening behind them on the door skin, also using the special 'speaker pads' that one of the companies makes. Mount the split in the front corner of the front door, where you might find a rear vision mirror adjuster in lessor cars. Then you either delete the rear speakers and fit a 10" high powered, low weight sub in a removable box. The amp can sit in the back against the rear seat (if there is room) or under one of the front seats. If required, the rears can run straight off the head unit thus saving weight on a bigger amp. I would highly recommend deadening the parcel shelf also, as oterhwise the dame thing rattles like a maniac with a little bit of Bass. I have Soundstream Splits in the front and Soundstream co-axes in the back, no amp but a top head unit. I assumed that being a small cabin, that the bass would be adequate from that set up, but alas. Bass levels are reasonable, and the bass does go deep (high quality spekers) but I can't turn it up too loud because it begins to distort. I plan on one sub soon (after weddding :S ) and will then run the speakers in high pass and let the sub take care of the rest. Just my 2c BASS OUT

  17. It will give a VERY smooth finish if you want. I believe you can choose a series of different finishes, depending on the medium they use. I don't think it would make a difference inside the manifold though. The cylinder head maybe.
  18. These type of people are the LOWEST COMMON DEMONINATOR

  22. "Police were called to the area about 1am AEDT after a large crowd of people, some with children in prams, gathered at the intersection of the Princes Highway and Elonera Road watching a number of vehicles driving erratically and doing burnouts." SOME WITH CHILDERN IN PRAMS for f**kS SAKE What is wrong with these people. You could see this happening.... Shame on everyone who was involved, INCLUDING THOSE WHO SPECTATED because you were part of it too. These idiots with a lower grade of intellect than the rest of us see that a big crowd of onlookers is a good thing and that eggs you on.... (not unlike my radiator incident.... Nobody calls me weak sauce )
  23. Thanks for the report Klenn. How about some pics?
