  1. Hi Guys, Well I'm all freshly married and stuff, so I can now get this group buy moving. Give me a few days to settle down and I'll give you all further instructions should you choose to accept them (insert Mission Impossible music) Anywho, yes, this will go ahead. Will start to sort payments later this week. Cheers BASS OUT
  2. DivHunter... Have you even been to Coke or Pepsi? They use water to clean bottles and perform heaps of other tasks. Every bottle is rinsed many times, and the out sides are then rinsed as well. They use Uber Loads of water.
  3. Flemington = Gambling... Gambling = money. Big problems in Melbourne include the following Irrigation water is still in big open channels and the water is subject to massive evaporation. something in the realm of 80% evap. Industry uses a craptacular amount of water, but industry needs to continue otherwise people loose jobs. Heavy users of water ie. Powercoating plants, Race Courses, places like Coke and Pepsi C.U.B all need to be regulated and made to install rainwater and filter plants. Every new home and every renovation over a certain amount of area needs to include a mandatory Grey water system for toilets. Rainwater tanks should be used for washing clothes and washing cars and watering the garden. After the wedding, I'll be putting in a water tank somewhere in my house (you can get under house bladders that look to work quite well) so that I can have grass and a clean car again. I haven't washed my car since I got the new paint job. It hurts me But that's life.
  4. Hey guys. Sila, that would be great. A reasonably straight car ready for playing with would be the bestest. Have you got any pics of what you have left? I'm sure there is somebody who can help get it from where it is to where it needs to be.... Does anybody know anyone who owns a big blue shiney tray truck??
  5. Hey guys, Seeing as though I've been let down by a prominent Aussie artist on this one seeing as though he's moved house and I can't get onto him.... long story... I have to do something myself that I'm not really that good at. I need somebody to make me some flames. I have to put a label on something which will be 210mm long and 55mm high. I need the flames to be about 1/4 of the 55mm high, so about 15mm. They should look like the flames in the girls hair below, or similar. Also, the link below is a photoshop tutorial but for some reason I can't get the wind bit to work. I'd like the words "Wild Things Chilli" to be in flames. If you could do it in an arc spanning about 1/3 of the 210mm = 70mm, arc about 20mm, and just plain horizontal, that would be tops. http://images.google.com.au/imgres?imgurl=...l%3Den%26sa%3DG I can't tell you what it's for just yet, but I need it yesterday..... I'll show you what it's for when it's all finished. Image quality should be no less than 300 dpi in CYMK for high quality print.... Your help will be greatly appreciated..... PLEASE HELP! Cheers BASS OUT
  6. Half cut for the win
  7. I'd be keen on that. Need to borrow some race tyres though.
  8. Good luck guys!!
  9. for $3k you could get the cams and a new highflow, which will be cheaper because you don't need the machining..... Just new wheels and bearing.
  10. My boss wants to fit a pair of these to his Hemi 300C SRT. The thing sounds awesome as it is, but with a pair of these.... well, I think it would stir my pants somewhat. JEFF.... BUY THESE!
  11. Hey guys, Yep this group buy can now go ahead. I have enough numbers to produce a batch. BUT... I'm getting married in two weeks and haven't got time to organise the buy at the moment, so it will have to wait until I get back from the wedding and week down the Great Ocean Road. After that happens should be a pretty quick turn around. Just gotta make room in the garage to box em up! Cheers PEte
  12. Bently Continental.. = Wedding car!
  13. I wonder if there will ever be Police canarying Targa cars at Targa Tasmania, Rally cars at Dutton, Classic Adelaide...... I think getting the idiots off the road is the most important thing. Not canarying people who are normal enthusiasts.
  14. Well, my suggestion was for Al's car, the Red from the Ford Cobra, imported from America. It's a standard colour and any paint shop can make it up. This afternoon I saw new Falcon, and it had a really nice deep red that I thought would also be a great match for the Factory Burgandy of the R33. Candy = trouble.
  15. That's the best I've ever seen Al's car That's exactly what I'm envisioning!
  16. 260 Tech. Series II guides will also fit your car When we have enough numbers, the buy will go ahead. We need about 6 more.
  17. I would seriously consider starting from scratch. Building a trailer using RHS and a new axle assembly would be a better way of doing it. The few lengths of RHS aren't going to cost alot. The new cast hitch is about $75 Front wheel to allow it to be removed from the car and be free standing is essential. Rear cut of an R33 is a tops idea. The trailer would have to be registered then as an R33 is a BIG FAT WHALE and would be wide. A new axle with whatever stud pattern you want is only a few hundred dollars, then you don't have to worry about shitty old bearings and having to buy new axles or anything. Anywho, just my thoughts, but a new build would be much more advantageous. BASS OUT
  18. Happy Birthday leewang .... I think.
  19. I accept the nomination. Pete for Prez!
  20. Well, it was a massive day! I gave myself a case of alcohol poisoning and was very ordinary all day. Spent 2 hours in the back of Gemma's car on the way to Daylesford. Came good half way there. Jarrod, your pool rocks. Was exactly what we needed. Man my guts are crook. PETE FOR PREZ!
  21. TeaznR33... Watching this space closely... Very keen to see results.
