Hey peeps. I've currently got an Exedy Heavy Duty in my car, but the clutch is knackered. I'm upgrading to either of the following clutches.. Exedy Hyper Single style, with the 7 or 9 ceramic buttons, sprung centre. OR Xtreme Clutch of the same style. I don't mind the a heavy clutch, I don't mind a bit of harshness. I drive the car everyday. I have 250rwkw and a fat power curve. I drag, I track, I drift. What is the difference between the two clutches, and does anyone have any experiences, or comments on them? All Help Appreciated. BASS OUT

Mine was the same. Made grinding noises, banging when it locks up, etc etc. I used the Kaaz LSD oil for the first few thousand Ks. My workshop recommended me to replace the oil every few thousand Ks until the noises go away. Mine have gone almost all together. When warm, you wouldn't even know you had a tricky diff. I use the Castrol stuff. My workshop swear by it, black and blue. And I trust them

Hey ppls. Good news. the Laser Cutting is considerably cheaper than Routing it. I can't use the shiney finish Ally though, but I reckon this stuff will look better, it's a brushed finish and wont show up any scratches as much. The saving is $15 per guide, so I'll drop all the guide pricing by $15. You can't laser etch aluminium though, so I'll talk to another company for engraving the Stag. Also, the cutting time from the new company should be considerably quicker! Which is a big bonus. BASS OUT

Somebody in Australia would be perfect. I don't want a copy, genuine Nismo only. Not short shifter, only 10% shorter "Solid Shift" Part number NISMO Solid Shifter (32839-RNR40): Thanks

Hey ppls. Well, it has finally come down to it and I need to sell my pride and joy. You all know how much I love my car, and I make this decision with a heavy heavy heart. It has been serviced every 5k-7.5k kilometers and every 10-15ks I change all fluids, including diff and gearbox. Specs 1998, R34 GTT Platinum Silver in colour, has a bit of a purple pearl in some lights (standard colour) Nismo Sports Front Bar Standard Rear Bar Just clicked over 90,000klms Interior Apline 7876R Head Unit. I'm sure that I've spent more, and I'll add things I've done at the thread grows if required. As you can see from the graph below, it's a solid performer. Achievements Dyno 250 rwkw, Race Pace Dyno (Chart Below) It's a solid performer and will have a tune refresh before sale after I fixed the wastegate the other day. Quarter Mile 12.9 @ 113 mph. The car is good for mids 12s with the right rubber. Track Winton 1.45:4 (when it had 200rwkw) DECA, well, you know how it goes at DECA. Will come with Road Worthy Certificate. Price $34,000 This price is very reasonable for a car with the amount of work which mine has had put into it. I wash and was it regluarly, I drive it very sedatly on the roads, infact I've never gotten a speeding fine in this car. Nothing has been left to chance on this car. If I though it needed something new, I just went and bought it. If something wore out, or needed replacing, I replaced it with the best. Try to build it cheaper........ NO Test Pilots. NOBODY will be driving my car until I see a deposit. I will take you on as many drives as you want, but until you are going to front with the money, there will be no piloting.

hey guys. I'll be looking into Laser Cutting now also, as I have seen a laser cut profile finish, and it's very good. the material is more like a lightly brushed finish, and if we laser etch the surface and anodise it, the etching will be lost. BUT I have another person near me who I could use to engrave (as opposed to etch) the plates before bending or anodising. Pricing forthcoming, oh, and if the Laser Cutting is cheaper, I'll let you all know. EGA41T Sorry I couldn't meet up with you last week, there was too much going on. BASS OUT

JimX. Sorry man, the guide was taken to the post office today. I went away for a week last week, and then was out for another two days Monday Tuesday. It was meant to be taken to the post office by one of my staff, but as the story goes. If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself. Series II guides. Again, haven't been able to do anything yet as I've been away in Syd. I'll work on them this and next week and should have something to cut by the end of next week. Sorry for the delay. -
my shifter is frasdaggled. I need a new one. I don't want the massively reduced throw that a C's shifter will give. I just want it solid and sure. Prices and lead times. BASS OUT

My R34 Is Drinking Alot Of Petrol? Any Help
Bass Junky replied to Tough R34's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Tough. Yeah that was me. I like your wheels. They go well with our colour. If you haven't tuned your PowerFC, you will get some fairly good returns from a good tuning session. Backfiring between gearchanges says much to much fuel is being supplied. Talk to Ice or Racepace or any other reputable tuner and get it tuned. You'll love it. I get about 320klms out of 50 litres with normal driving. If I stick the boot in, I can almost watch the needle going down. -

Hey ppls. Well, my shifter has been getting more and more movement on it over the last few months. Now, it moves around in the gate on a diameter of about 75mm. Starting to effect shift. What it wrong with it? Should I replace it with a Nismo solid shifter? BASS OUT
