  1. Hey guys. well, I picked up the samples today, and although they are the wrong thickness (2.0mm insted of 1.0mm) they are good enought to become my hacks for design work. I have bent them up according to my drawings so tonight and Saturday (at the SAU VIC BBQ) I will be testing them on cars. Once that's done, I'll be finalising this group buy. Thanks for your patience. BASS OUT
  2. I have just picked up the blanks and I'll be bending them tonight and playing with them. Should have a go ahead within the next few days.
  3. Mine went fine My car is tuned at 12:1 flat. With the 100 ron stuff, the tune would go back to about 12.2 to 12.3:1 which is perfectly fine. I put it in, went to Calder, added 4 degrees and some boost and ran a 112 mph . My car was perfectly happy.
  4. What Ash said. You'll have to speak with Steve about pricing.
  5. skidkid, A picture tells a Thousand words!
  6. the97skyline I just got mine from Speed Technology. Just had it fitted this afternoon. I've just been out the front doing figure 8s (slowly of course) to bed it in. Steve at Speed Tech is a good bloke and knows his stuff. Cheers Pete
  7. I figured you would be putting your hand up. Less than 10 minutes since I posted it!
  8. Hey guys, The drawings of the samples had some glitches which is why they wont be ready until tomorrow at 10am. I'll bend them tomorrow before our Committee meeting in Melbourne and hopefully I can trial fit them to Al's R33 GTS-T and then I'll hunt down an R33 GTR to fit it too as well. Once I'm happy, I'll ask for the cash. I'm also making up a bunch of sheetmetal boxes for the guides so they wont be damaged in transit and so that I can send them via the Post and not TNT, hopefully I can save you all some money that way, but I'm not sure yet. BASS OUTTTTTTT
  9. ps Check this thread. Anything over about 270rwkw, you will need an engine build.
  10. I'm making 250rwkw Probably cost, if I'm honest and real, 10k +
  11. Coolest blow up ever!
  12. It's in the measuring up and cleaning up dimensions stage. I'm getting the samples of my new R33 GTR and GTS-T deflectors today, and then I'm only the stags.
  13. Everything MUST be confirmed by Thursday. Anyone who hasn't paid by then will NOT be coming. Please get your payments in as soon as possible. Thanks BASS OUT
  14. Yep, It's definently sound deadening. Pull it out and you can then hear your BOV and turbo sucking.
  15. dezz, not just yet. I'm picking up the GTR and GTST prototype blanks on Monday and I will bend them up Monday evening. Then I will borrow the cars of two nice R33 people Tuesday night or Wednesday night or sometime. Once I'm happy with them, I will take photos and then ask for money. I'll get everything organised first, including freight and packaging, which is a pain in the arse and takes bloody ages to pack each one!!! But, as you can see by Nightcrawlers photos, the guides are worth the wait. BASS OUT
  16. Thanks for those pics. They look great. I'll post an idea I had to make it even better. It involves some foam and some glue.....

  23. Hey Ppls. Okay, here's the deal. We will meet at the shopping centre carpark across from the Sandown Park Hotel on the Princess Highway at 9am for a 9:30am depart. This is on Melways reference 80 E9 We will then travel down the Highway towards Gippsland and towards Druin. The Mel Ways Ref is: Page 512 U5. From then we will eat lots of chilli and burn our mouths silly. Then we will leave when we have all had enough of eating things which will make us sore in the morning we will travel back, stopping at a high pressure car wash to cool our a.holes down from the onslaught of chilli powered squits. Then we will all get home and preceed to do handstands in a cold shower to further dull the pain. then we will attack the Grape Grazing Festival on the Sunday. Hopefully we can walk without looking like we have just gotten off a horse. BASS OUT MO FOs
