  1. I did a 2.235 on the quickest run. Slowest was 2.517
  2. I'll co Drive with you Brisby
  3. Cusco = Sexy http://www.cusco.co.jp/05_ctg/5sbr_pdf/sus_p_78.pdf
  4. Then maybe the Gold coloured ones are better as they have the bushed in them....
  5. All sounds very difficult! I do like the look of those nice shiny silver ones that brisby posted... hmmmm
  6. How much money? $3000-$4000 including fitting and tuning, depending on the components and the quality of work you want.
  7. Sales Engineer. We build the machines that make steel roofing. I spend way too much money on my car.
  8. 0.9 Bar = 13.23 psi Any tuned, advanced timing, 12.0 : 1 AFRs stock turbo (standard PFC tune style car) is a ticking time bomb. A stock turbo, on stock computer will last a little longer because you aren't advancing the timing and dropping AFRs which both create heat in the exhaust. Heat on ceramic exhaust wheel is just asking for a delaminated turbine entering your cat converter.
  9. Okay, so I've done some reading around and Whiteline don't seam to have an adjustable Camber kit for skylnes, not screw adjustable anyway. I have the offset bushes, but can only get a small amount of adjustment out of them. I would like to be able to fit semi-comps, and I can't do that with the camber I've got at the moment, there simply isn't enough. So, SK. How do you do the camber on the race cars? Do you have a custom made part, or a bought one? spanks BASS OUT
  10. fekuar You mate was bullshitting. He would the ONLY person in the world who was able to run 18psi in his skyline for any period of time. My perfectly tuned R34 farked the bearings in it's stock turbo. EVERYONE who has run 14psi for more than 9 months with their stock turbo has blown it up. 18psi = fully bullcrap mate.
  11. 13.071 @ 108.91 60ft 2.235 250 rwkw Hankook Ventus Sport. Calder Park
  12. Thanks guys. Nice pics too SK
  13. Well, this week I'm going to have the rear section of my nice Fujitsubo butchere and a magnaflow put in. using a flange of course so that I can refit the loud one for racing purposes when I need to.... I'm also thinking of having some side pipes made up for shits and giggles!
  14. Hey ppls. Not knowing a MASSIVE amount about suspension, I just need to know the following. Can you fit adjustable strut tops to the front end of an R34 GTT and have it effect camber? I'm getting feathering on the front wheels as I only have about 0.5 degrees of camber and I'd like to be able to dial in more, easily, before a track day, and then dial that out again afterwards...... So, can I do it, or do I need to get the adjustable linkages? Cheers BASS OUT
  15. 100% Variable.
  16. Oh Okay. A report Well, it ws super busy at Calder. First run, did a 13.6 with like a 2.5 60ft. The track was soo much grippier than I though. 1.6 mph Launched at about 4000 rpm Second run, blazed it on the launch, to many revs at about 6000. once it hooked up, I got that mad rush of crazy acceleration you get when you are at full boost, about 5000rpm and silly silly grip levels. blasted down to a 14.1.... but at 112 mph!!!! Third run, I did a 2nd gear 7000rpm clutch dump burnout. Then got off the line with about 5000 rpm on board, almost let the clutch out to fast and bogged down but a little jab kept the revs up. Ran to a 13.3 at about 106 I think. Fourth and final run, another 2nd gear burnout (from which I could later smell some serious clutch burny burny smell) and a reasonable launch again with that good traction feeling. Ran to a 13.071 at 108 mph. All in all, I hate the world. I will be going back to Calder at some stage this summer to run my 12 goddamn it! I watched as several big v8s, ran 12.4 - 12.7 with trap speeds of like 109, so there's mid 12s in my car somewhere, I've just got to give it the right shoes! Brisby. I ran street tyres. Couldn't be arse picking your wheels up after the shinanigans with the Lada!!! Ill Be Back BASS OUT
  17. I hate drag racing. That is all
  18. do you think I'll get any benifit from dropping pressure in my road tyres?
  19. Yep. Might even be some warmth in the track
  20. Just an idea to try to keep the core engine temperature down
  21. I'm not even removing the spare tyre
  22. I was going to put on the semis, but couldn't be arsed. I'm running 255 Hankook Ventus Sport which hook up okay. Previously I have run a 1.9 60ft so I hope I can repeat that. I'm buying a hand water spray so I can cool the pipes after each run, and also cool the oil cooler and as well. Gonna look like a goon, but who cares. Temperature = bad!
  23. Well, I just went down and got some Optimax EXTREEEEEEEEEEM 100 Feel's the same. But im going to wind in some more timing and have a play.
