Went through something similar about a month ago sitting at an intersection waiting to turn right was hit head on by a Porsch running a red trying to avoid hitting a van doing a u turn at the lights ! Ambo, intesive care the works ! Concrete medium strip got him airbourne on impact, spun 180 and smashed into the back of my line above the rear right wheel ! So I know what youve gone through and as long as your ok the rest dont mean squat !

Im after a stock, working, CD player out of a 93 (or later if they are the same) R33 gtst as mines dead. I like the factory original look and would like to try and keep it that way. Thanks Guys

I got an old school spark plug cleaner. Basically its a mini sand blaster. You hook it up to your car battery and put the plug in the top and push the botton and it fires a very fine zircon sand at the pug at high speed and gets rid of the carbon deposits. Tried to buy a new one a little while ago but couldnt find them any where !

Ha Ha ! Defects ! The cops can do as they like. You can get it engineered and have all the pretty paper work you like and wave it at them as they say to you: " Thats all very well, but I think youve modifided it some more after you got it passed "!!!!! Bam ! Canary ! One of my mates a while ago had a Capri with a V8 in it, with all the engineering reports you could imagine. In the end the cop that pulled him over got him for flaking paint on the number plate( which where new ???? ). If they want you off the road, your off !

Yours seems, in one of your pics, to have the passenger side but none for the driver ! Has it at some time had a front ender or did you buy it as it is out of the car yard ?

Watch out with famous theyve got a policy that if you have a write off situation and your at fault they wont let you reinsure with them again. Thats their "company policy" So much for looking after their coustomers, even when you want to stay with them. Nice !

Not the ticket to ride to a GTR that would wish on anyone. And Im not with NRMA ! They need a seeing eye dog to find their own arses when it comes to insuring import cars ! I know I tried them $3400 bucks for someone thats 42 and has had all their insurances with them for 25 years !!!!! I dont think so ! Shannons $872 is ledgendary !

My insurance is handling the lot. I love full comprehensive insurance. Cars getting inspected this arvo and you can bet its a total wright off. Didnt get any pics im affraid. Now I gotta go looking for another Line !

Dont know what happened to any of them cause I was haulled off in the ambulance. Late that arvo after getting out of hospital, I got in touch with the tow company and went to the storage yard to get my stuff out of the car. Basically the front of the car smashed half way up and the rear right rear above the wheel is smashed and the roof is totally bent !

Hey Guys ; Thought I should tell you about this one. On friday at about lunch time I was waiting to turn left at a set of lights at Wetherill Park when the van in front of me decides to do an illigel u turn through the end of the yellow. When a Porsch carrera comming the other way, which is also running the light, locks em up trying to miss the van slides accoss the intersection, missing the van, slams into the front of my line. But wait theres more ; The porsch was going at such a speed, and after hitting the medium strip and getting partly airbourne, spins to again slam into the back of my car ABOVE the back right wheel shunting my car about fifteen feet sideways. And heres the best bit , Im whiplashed and going into shock fast , as im trying to get out of my car ( unbelievably the drivers door is untouched ) the Porche driver jumps out of his car and runs acrross the road and starts to abuse the van driver who has stopped. Im staggering around with people grabbing me to get me out of the traffic ambulance arrives, neck brace, back brace, and off to Westmead hospital to me, four hours of head and spiinal X-rays in intensive care for me, thank you very much. No damage to me except neck muscles and tendons NICE ! NICE ! NICE !

BOG is just polyester resin loaded with a filler like calcium carbonate( talc ). To get the best adhesion to do this repair it would be best to use straight polyester resin. Just check the back of the grill and see if it aint ABS plastic as well. If its ABS or fiberglass youll be ok with the polyester resin for the repair. Just wash it with soap and water and then clean it with acetone to prep the surface before you start the repair. To get polyester resin and hardener go to fiberglass repair places like boat shops or swimming pool places. Follow the instructions and youll do fine

Hey guys I got a 93 R33 gtst with what looks like a factory fitted kenwood system in it. Problem is that the guy who owned it replaced it with his own system and a boot full of speakers rewired the whole thing and snipped the wires to the kenwood system. When he sold the car to me he kept his system and ive started to replace itr with my own. All the wiring is there ( apart for the plugs being snipped off behind the head unit ) and i was wondering if any one had a original kenwood stacker lying around that the wanted to part with. Looks as if it was mounted in the boot Any help would be much appreciated

Sounds like the idle control valve is gummed up and full of crap. Same thing happened to me

Is that the piece that holds the clear plastic bit on the gauages ?
