as mentioned it was a brilliant day and good to represent the trusty skyline amongst the sea of subys and evos. was pretty pleased with a 60.83 for my first time there as its a very tricky track to get a heavy gtr around quick. got home exhausted and burnt but really looking forward to going back again to try and crack the minute mark. ..and thanks to the gumby that gave me no.13

spotted a few times now a black 33 gtr, looked like gold volk gtc's, ftg rd wheelers hill.

come to think of it they did ask me if i was part of car club and i did mention i was a sau member so maybe thats the trick..

its very simple - you get what you pay for, a cheap gtr will always be just a cheap gtr.

sub is still for sale. the amp i have is a Pioneer GM-X722.

im 23, 33gtr, full comp, agreed value, lots of mods, shannons all the way. just cars wanted double the premium and triple the excess than what shannons charge me now. lots of people comment how i managed to get insurance with them whilst under 25 and i really dont know - i just called up, got a quote, compared with just cars and struck a deal with shannons. by far best insurance company out there for modified cars. g/l. chris.

levelride - sorry mate freight to usa is outta the question it really isnt worth it for me. dcvn slappy - sub is a 12w3v2-d2 (dual 2 ohm voice coil sub).

tint a car forumula 1 tint. my skyline had tint done there by previous owner so when mums car needed tint took it to them and was very impressed.

i'll pull the sub out and get u a model no. make me an offer might as well just take the box i'll have no use for it at all. i have an amp to run it too if ur keen. i'll get back to ya. cheers.

Bozz - i think so. u had the gunmetal 32? first session i watched just to get an idea and the way people were coming down the 2nd shorter straight into turn 3, blaring down the inside and just pushing their way through, it really put me off in particular that black race spec commonwhore. ur all right in saying there were definately some dickeheads on the track. i also found it a little hard to 'follow the rules' and not overtake on corners, fair enought the tigher ones but the 'cleavage' i really wasn't sure if i could, sometimes it would be safe but i just didn't want to get told off by the marhsalls. was my first time on a track and damn did i learn alot. i can't wait to go again. i was in the purple gtr. pic courtesy of charli.

haha.. yeah it wasn't many. in the sessions i went out in my only real battle was some olschool little one seater ford thing that probably weighed 700kg-ish.. it was bloddy quick.

brilliant day. 1st time out on a track in the GTR and i can safely say i'm going to become a track whore, and a proud one at that!

ah ok.. yeh seen it at racepace on friday getting an allignment. think its off to targa. what a machine.
