  7. in all seriousness now when i go go-karting i just use gardening gloves.. they're the 'dearer' gardening gloves with suede but they'll do the trick if ur gettin sweaty hands 10bux job done. i mainly use them to avoid blisters..

  9. believe me i know the feeling.. just for me i was meant to get it in a few days but ended up taking a few weeks.. damn it was painful - worth it in the end
  10. nissan would definately be able to get it in for you but it probably be a week or two wait from japan. best bet is to go to import wrecker. there's a good one in knox called osaka imports - 54 parkhurst drive. 98004041. g/l.

  13. yes indeed flaggies sure deserve a mention the day wasn't gonna happen unless we coughed up some volunteers. also thanks to martin (emts) john (richo) and others for givin me a hand with my car and chris (scotsman) for driving me home. ended up gettin back there about 10:30 that night with a trailer... luckily the torrential rain held off but it was pitch black and f*cking gale force freezing wind.. took us about 40mins before we had the lip off and the car on the trailer - lets just say it wasn't exactly pleasant... haha the track is simply amazing. i can not wait to go back there again. pretty happy with 2min flat for my first outing there hopefully next time my testicular diamater will have increased for turn 1.
  14. awesome.. scattered showers, isolated thunderstorms with hail. max 17.
  15. hey mate what was the outcome of this? i'm trying to work out a similar problem with my 33 gtr. im currently doing front shafts and uprights fingers crossed that'll solve my problem but in the process just realised one of my hubs isn't the best there isn't a dime of play in the hubs its just the bearing on passanger side is bone dry and doesn't turn over too easily/smooth so i may need to look at these also.. not too sure what i'll do with the hubs atm as i need the car for PI on sunday.. (replacing bearings isn't fun )
  16. i had some wheels transported from adelaide to melbourne with allied express - it went on the work account but was <$100 which i thought was very reasonable. i got the bloke to buy some rolls of cling wrap and basically go nuts with that.
  17. as nismoid said, all your nismo thermostat will do is open completely at a lower temperature than the factory one and it'll just take your car longer to warm up, which in turn equals higher average fuel consumption.. i really never understood these thermostats. if however you believe your current thermostat is jammed slightly closed then go for it, i'd still put a standard one in there but it's up to you seeing as you've allready bought it. generally speaking thermostats fail by jamming completely open which makes your car take forever to get up to temp.
  18. nismoid, can u pm me where u d/l current asot from i used to listen to em back in they day like early 300's..
