  1. ferni, just make sure your oil supply is up to track work. I don't want to hear that klanking noise from anyone's car Stock brakes are fine as long as you have new fluid
  2. Not that there's anything wrong with that... Sorry, it was funnier in my head...
  3. The user skylinegeoff has HICAS lock bars for $100 send him an email [email protected]
  4. There is a little bleeder thing on the clutch pack for the ATESSA, if you are intending to make it really RWD then it is worth cracking that open (watch out for fluid). Also for a drift car you would want to get a HICAS (4WS) lock. p.s. You can take out the driveshafts and it would save weight.
  5. My sex life is like my racing... The other guy always comes first
  6. This pic is one GTR that can never loose (sic) :bonk:
  7. Are you sure it had a standard intercooler? While I only had a quick look at it the GT-R that Lindsay Fox has had a bizarre top entry weirdo intercooler. But the curator at the Fox museum also told me that the car weighed 1,000kg, I was like errr ok guy. Anyway... He should know but I have a lot of trouble believing that the car is 1,000kg
  8. It is Midnight Purple...
  9. You should get a camera crew and sell it to today tonight or something. At least get the story to pay for itself
  10. LOL yep, busted... I made it ages ago and nobody has done any Welcome to Last Week things
  11. Yep, not a bad site... But I think most people here would know it
  12. Whether the M-Spec Nür or V-Spec II Nür is better or worse depends entirely on what you want from the car. The engine is exactly the same. But the M-Spec Nür has a nice leather interior and "ripple control" shocks which are meant to give a nicer ride over normal bumpy roads, so as an everyday car the M-Spec Nür is a better car... The V-Spec II Nür has the V-Spec II suspension which is very stiff for the road and not stiff enough for the track. So just bin it and put in some Kei-Office Super Mega R-Spec or something suspension in it. Then you will be cornering hard enough to want some decent seats so stick in a set of BRIDE Hugging Ultra Monster Friend Spec seats. So to summarise. If you want to hit the track you have to take all the things that make the M-Spec Nür good and throw them in the shed. So you might as well get a V-Spec II Nür or just a plain old N1. But the V-Spec II Nür seems hard to get so you might not have that choice and then you can sell the leather interior to some povo guy with a Normal Version GT-R which doesn't get the companded tacho and driveway scraping tool. p.s. To all the people who would keep their car in the box it came in you are all ghey. Cars are meant to be driven. If I see a 1,000km old M-Spec Nür at the 2024 SAU concours I will puke up a lung. I mean they will be so slow compared to the R37 anyway
  13. I guess you would need a runaround when the Z-tune is getting serviced
  14. BREAK being the operative word...
  15. I had my first crash the night before an 2nd year Electrical Engineering exam, I failed...
  16. The Gainsville guy used to have a very hot Aussie spec R32 GT-R with a V8 Supercar wing and a Holinger. Apparently it was originally his wife's car but he stole it and then went bananas on it There was another ad with the Porsche GT1 at Phillip Island (drool)
  17. Ah yes, he says in that issue that he has a V-Spec II Nür not an M-Spec Nür...
  18. I don't think people who get an M-Spec Nür are required to make a public announcement. The white one in this pic is supposed to be an M-Spec, not sure if it is a Nür. I guess the real question is, if you do get an M-Spec Nür do you modfiy it at all? I would get those N1 turbos working a bit harder, but turning it into a bone shaking racecar sort of goes against the M-Spec philosophy. What would you all do to yours?
  19. Oh no... Do GT-R pistons fit in a RB25? I know of a set lying around...
  20. What is a Terry Ashwood?
  21. Heh, he was lucky it didn't have a front mounted fence when he got on the gas coming onto the straight when it was still a bit wet
  22. Yeah a couple of little oil issues, it was also the driver's first time on a track...
  23. Results are here http://www.racetime.com.au/?event=s0404
  24. ...and what colour would sir like his M-Spec Nür? http://www.zele-international.com/bnr34/34_328.html http://www.zele-international.com/bnr34/34_327.html http://www.zele-international.com/bnr34/34_326.html http://www.zele-international.com/bnr34/34_323.html Cheapest one of these is ¥6,580,000 ($88,000) so ummm yeah, you would need to be pretty liquid.
