(2) A vehicle defect notice must state- (a) the vehicle's registration details including the registration number, unregistered vehicle permit number (if practicable and applicable), expiry date and jurisdiction of registration; and (B) the name of the driver of the vehicle or, if the driver is not present when the notice is issued, the words "registered operator"; and © to the extent practicable, the vehicle's identification details including its VIN, or if there is no VIN, the chassis number or engine number, its make and type; and (d) the type of inspection conducted; and (e) the details of the vehicle's defects and whether the notice is a major defect notice or a minor vehicle defect notice; and (f) the time and date after which the vehicle is not to be used on a highway; and (g) any restriction on the movement of the vehicle to another location following issue of the vehicle defect notice; and (h) the clearance requirement, including the date after which the vehicle's registration may be suspended unless the notice has been cleared; and (i) the name, official number or other identification of the person who issued the notice. Well do ICE take out the driveshafts for free? If it takes 15 minutes to take a driveshaft out (including getting it on and off the hoist) moving cars, doing the next car... it only takes 4 GT-Rs to waste an hour of their time. I guess it depends how many 4WD cars would turn up to a SAU dyno day.

Hate to be a grumpy bum, but wouldn't a 4WD dyno have been a good investment. I mean it will take ages for a dyno day with lots of GT-Rs...

While I can't think of a simple answer to your question I think you also need to consider the "system" that is a drifting car. Remember there are two wheels spinning at different speeds relative to the road surface. Unless you are in a car with aerodynamic downforce the tyres are pressed to the ground by the force of gravity. This is where you get your grip from. By pressing the accelerator you apply a force Fapp and as long as that force does not exceed your force of friction f you are in a grip driving situation. Once Fapp > f you are in a drift scenario... The coeff of kinetic friction is lower than the coeff of static friction so yes once the wheels are spinning they will stay spinning until Fapp is less than... I have to go and see a movie. I guess... a couple of uncomplianced and thrashed S15's aren't worth that much. They would make a neat basis for a pair of drift cars though! I've got a couple of $K kicking around I might want to use... Anyway, PROCAR was never really "solvent", Ross Palmer pumped big $$$ into it from the beginning. He has obviously just gotten sick of it. I guess it is like a project car, he did it because he loved it, not because it was sensible.
