wow you guys must be doing some dumb things or look guilty when police are around! lol i had a bright yellow S15 with a straight pipe off the back of the turbo, i dont know how many times i was stopped for RBT, but cops wouldnt give me a second look. and the car was effing loud, low and at one stage had 19" ugly-as-sin startcorps! are some of you guys ethnic looking?? im whitey mcwhite and im generally not picked on. but +1 on the attitude test. dont snap at them, and as already mentioned, be polite. it doesnt cost you anything to be nice to them even if they ARE singling you out.

hmm bar and plate kit! yes please as long as it 'bolts' in im happy. i dont mind trimming the bar etc. but im not up for cutting holes (like my poor poor poor S15(s))

there ARE a lot of stupid people out there. ok maybe stupid is too harsh. lets say people that just dont know what that sound is. i know if my wife was driving and she heard something different, she wouldnt really care... just as an example! not everyone is attuned to their car like a lot of us are!

yeah i guess so, nah i havent done a service since i had it. the dealer did one for free to be 'nice' to me and keep me happy because of the problems i had with the car - that still arent fixed. and yeah, Elf oil is probably one of the best brands around!! i wouldnt be calling it junk lol anyway, the factory quotes 10,000km services on our cars correct? so why is everyone doing them every 5,000? because the import dealer says so? thats how they make a little more money. engines these days are designed to last longer between services, subaru have been doing 12,500 for years, and my little fiat will go 15,000 between services. its just money making for import dealers. plus its bad for the environment.........

youve heard of Murphy's Law right???

yes its a pressure relief valve. if your fuel line becomes blocked or fuel cant leave the tank for any reason, it opens and released pressure so you dont destroy your fuel pump or blow up fuel lines. its best to leave it there. if its faulty, replace it. simple as that!
