LOL procoat don't do good enough job for me ... if i was really strapped for cash then yeah i'd go to him since he is the cheapest place around but his quality aint that good .. and yeah my car is still at JV .. those ****s have ****ed me around so much i will never recommend them to anyone ever again ... had my car for over 3 weeks and just left it there .. didn't do anything just left it in the sun ... finally brought the car in on saturday and they still didn't even touch it when i went to see them yesterday ... they are big but i'll never ever go there again ... its too late to take my car back now ... whats the other place u once mentioned duc? tolleys or something?? they cheap??

i doubt people who really know how to steal cars would want my skyline ... its nothing special ... very stock lookin ... and they wouldnt' steal an auto since its hard to get it into drive without the key .. i can't see how they can do it ... i'm just afraid they'll knock a window and steal stuff inside it ... like the sound gear.

i've rang up famous a couple of times .. they can't match just cars here in SA ... missed by over 1k!!! anyways i'm going 3rd party fire and theft ... i dont' see the point in insuring for 2k a year then getting slugged 2k on excesses which would be 4k a year if u had an accident ... might as well take the risk ... plus just cars has on their policy a 3k value if u get hit by someone uninsured ... and u get their details ... if that went up a bit more i'd be very happy since i think i'm a safe driver now ... tough wood ... just dont hoon around, be wary and u'll be fine

well as for luxury i've never been in a xr6t or a 34gtt but i'd imagine the xr6t would have better luxury features ... i mean i got into this monaro ... wasn't even the highest spec one but it had all the leather seats and full electronic chairs ... i loved it ... i wish the skyline had that ... but then again u woulsn't want all that in a real sports car would u?

i was thinkin about the security of my car which isn't good, its an auto so i think it can't be stolen unless hes got the keys since it has this lock where u cant push it into drive unless u have the keys in there. so my next concern is the stuff inside the car, if ever i park my car in a public spot and somewhere i know there will be people walkin across i take the faceplate with me, however i still dont think its secure enough, i mean it will have about at least 2k worth of audio gear and then about 1k of performace stuff so i'm pretty worried about it... i have an alarm but its just ur average one with knock detector and microwave. anyone who knows how to break into cars will get in so i'm thinking, whats the best way to secure everything? things i will be doing soon is 1. tintin the car dark, dont' care about defects just have it dark so people cant' see in. 2. cutting the boot wire, i know people can still jack it. what else?

if u can't get this group buy thing to under about 180 bucks then i dont' think its worth all this effort, since if some place can do it for 250 or so .. do a group buy with them and i'm sure you can stretch it down to 150 if u had enough people.

i wrote that a month ago but i think i was actually refering to the article saying how all the cars were imports and then mentioning a gtr ?? so they were implying that all these kids are hella rich ...which i very much doubt ... i've never seen one of these street race things but i would assume its mostly VNs and fords... so yeah i think u did take it the wrong way ... doesn't matter ...its all good ... and even if u had rich parents i wouldn't care ... more power to u ... its none of my business ...

i dont' know .. i'm not sure how powerfcs work ... they are just a replacement computer ... i dont' know how apex gets all their data from since they have a powerfc for most jap spec cars ... its a huge job to want to do what u want to do ... thats why they sell gauges LOL

ur best bet i think would be getting the signals coming into the computer .. i'm not sure what the protocols of the signals are .. u gotta research it and if its not available then u have to do manual testing urself which would be a bitch ... alot of work ... i'd just go buy a powerfc or a microtech
