and the best rates I can get from a trader (like Slidewize Imports off SAU) is about $200 to get it to Australia, then $100 to freight from Melbourne to Adelaide. I just don't want to pay that much. Plus there is the issue with them sourcing one from Japan, which would normally be off Yahoo or Ebay, then have to pay internal Japan freight etc to get it to the shipping container.

Rezz, you would think there are some around, but I can't even find a 2 door one, let alone a 4 door one .... I have rang EVERY import yard, wrecker and compliance workshop in Adelaide, and a heap of places in Qld, NSW and Vic. Nothing. Nada. I'm getting a tad desperate. Well not quite desperate, but disconcerted at least. If you could get me one here for say $250 I would be happy with you keeping whatever profit you can make ..... and you would be helping a fellow SAU member - for which I would be eternally grateful! On a side note, have any of you guys in Japan ever heard of the radio DJ Chris Glenn? He is originally from Adelaide, and his Japanese wife (originally from Nagoya) is sort of my adopted sister.

bleh - like Chops said - post counting is for pubescent teens with nothing better to do
-
hey, is there anyone living in Japan (Rezz etc) that would be willing to go to a parts yard, acquire me an R34GTT 4 door STOCK exhaust, and post/ship it to Australia? Since they are such a small value item (I have have seen them on Ebay for as little as $10), it is very restrictive to get one of the forum sponsors to bring it in, as they have to declare value and pay duties plus GST on the value + shipping cost. If it is a 'personal gift' it avoids such costs

Well burnt-outs start at 11am followed by qualifying, so anyone that wants to meet up from the Southern side of town (or anyone else for that matter), how about we meet at the 'usual' meeting place at 10am. PM me for the meet spot if you don't know where the 'usual' spot is. Andrew

thanks for your translation mate .... all help is much appreciated. The car actually arrived here in Adelaide, SA 2 weeks ago (20 days from payment to delivery - AMAZING). But it is still on the docks tied up in customs crap. They tell me I should be able to pick it up Monday or Tuesday, then I can finally see what brand exhaust, suspension etc it has

Hi, I have been searching far and wide, but have had no success. I need a stock 4 door R34GTT exhaust for compliance. Exhaust has to be STOCK, and I prefer 4 door, but if I can't find a 4 door one, then a 2 door one will do and I will have it modified. If anyone knows anyone that may have an old stock one laying about, please let me know asap. Of course I'll pay for shipping to SA. As Qld is the import capital of Aus, I hope I can find one in Qld!! Mods please leave, as the search is stretching out and this is my last hope Andrew

nah IQ is an advanced version of Foxtel. There is: normal Foxtel Foxtel Digital Foxtel Digital IQ (is basically Digital, but with a 160Gb Hard Drive built-in for recording.) I absolutely couldn't live without Foxtel!!! Underworld is a 2003 movie with Kate Beckinsale in it - about Vampires and Lycans (Werewolves). Is a bloody awesome movie!! I have seen it about 10 times already, including on the plane back from Singapore, and one at the movies as well. http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/underwo.../site/main.html cool website too! From Sony's Underworld website: In the Underworld, Vampires are a secret clan of modern aristocratic sophisticates whose mortal enemies are the Lycans (werewolves), a shrewd gang of street thugs who prowl the city's underbelly. No one knows the origin of their bitter blood feud, but the balance of power between them turns even bloodier when a beautiful young Vampire warrior and a newly-turned Lycan with a mysterious past fall in love. Kate Beckinsale and Scott Speedman star in this modern-day, action-packed tale of ruthless intrigue and forbidden passion all set against the dazzling backdrop of a timeless, Gothic metropolis.

I hope to be heading out .... just to watch of course

Sydneykid - fyi there is no way in hell an R32 with 180rwkw is going to do a 12.8. Not even close. Maybe a low 13, but not in the 12's. My S15 with 195rwkw ran 12.74 @110mph with a very good 1.94 60'.

anyone? There must be some stock R34 exhausts laying around.
-
that is damn cheap .... A$18,500

sorry to say, but it depends on what guy you get at Regency, as to what things are legal. It's a bit of pot luck. Generally speaking (from my experiences): - bleed valve = legal. They seem to only pick on EBCs. But, if it is easy to remove, then I would. - pod = legal. Must be reasonably secure though - not wobbling around all over the place. - strut brace = legal. No problems that I know of - exhaust = if it is noisy illegal. They will most likely put a dB meter on it. If it is over 90dB then technically it is illegal, but some cops let them go up to 96dB (which mine was and I got away with it). Regency might be more stringent though. - 18" rims = legal. As long as they have the size etc stamped onto them. A lot of Jap rims don't have this stamped onto them, which makes them illegal. - turbo timer = illegal. Yes, you wil need to remove all of the associated wiring as fas as I know. The worst thing about Regency is that they will go over your WHOLE car with a fine-tooth comb, and nearly always find more defects. Things like bushes, tie rods, tyres, chassis dents, rust, minor leaks, etc etc. Good luck.

That's why I put the 'feel free to correct me if I'm wrong' disclaimer at the bottom I am still confused as to why the 3 gauges are missing though .... even with the TV they would have easily fitted. Nice colour choice btw Hey, can you do a FAST search like that on my car for me? VIN ER34015023

Cillham - our clan name is |NaP| = Not a Problem ..... we are quite shit, but have fun Sam - don't get confused by the PC geek-talk - here are translations: - clan: a group of prople (normally friends) who play the same game, and so form a clan (=gang), and you fight other clans in online or network wars/battles. - CS:S = CounterStrike : Source - first person shooter game (you run around a virtual world shooting your enemies). - Valhalla = a large gathering of PC geeks with their computers to play games and share files, whilst hooked up to a large network (up to 500 people in one room, normally a gymnasium). Valhalla is held most months at the St. Clairs Recreation Centre, Woodville (I think they are still held there). warez: downloaded software or patches/cracks (normally illegal and often user cracked so to online version checkers appear to be real/registered/paid for versions) pron = PORN
