  1. yep you can do it from the little controller - it has a button to select high or low, and each of those settings has a little knob to set the boost. There are no increments on the actual dial, but you just turn it little by little to up the boost until you are happy. If you want to have a look at mine, PM and we can hook up for a look.
  2. good work Luke - I thought it sounded strange that you would do 'hoon' type things - go them for all they are worth!
  3. Sean - hehe do you mean swap permanently or until my car is complied and then switch back .... I really love them and will put them straight back on after compliance/Regency. I am borrowing the FBI 4 door's exhaust btw - thank goodness I found a solution! So now I have pretty much sorted all the bits I need. Have you seen my pics? Check out www.angelfire.com/me/andnus/4doorR34.html
  4. how much do you want for them mate? Would I be able to repair the broken clip somehow, or is it unusable?
  5. I have the 6,000k - have had them in for about 4 months. I wouldn't go the 8,000k, else you become cop-bait at night.
  6. Can anyone help with the above items? Is there any import wrecker/yard in Australia that brings in a fair amount of R34 bits? Nowhere in SA does
  7. I bought an HID kit off BT-Revolution (on these forums) for my S15, and they are bloody fantastic! I think he has a group buy on at the moment for around $400, which is a bargain. By far the best mod I did on my S15 - you wouldn't believe how much better light HID kits give off. And the globe plug straight into your H1 fitting - all you have to do is wire up the ballasts (1 hour job tops to fit everything).
  8. awesome - found exactly what I need! Thanks a million!
  9. Thanks Greg .... was there noticeable before and after difference in performance - or is it more for looks? Have you found your brake pad wear to have increased since you had it done? Cheers, Andrew
  10. Black32 - but I am worried that might increase the front bias, whereas I would rather try to balance the car's braking, than make it worse. Chapman - what is your next car? And how much cash adjustment are we talking? I think from memory they charge $60 per rotor (or pair?) - not sure which - can anyone confirm?
  11. Someone mentioned a while back about a place that can slot your brake discs. Name, address, phone number and price please. I think they were in Green Fields. And, should you get all 4 done, or is it ok to just do the fronts?
  12. I am a total noob when it comes to suspension - are these coilovers, and can anyone 'in the know' i.d. them for me?
  13. Hi, can anyone please give me a link to a full R34 GTT service manual? I am also still after a stock cat-back R34 exhaust for a 4 door (sedan) to hire or buy. If anyone knows anyone at any importers or import wreckers, can they please ask around for me? I have rang tons of places but with no success. If I can't find a 4 door one, then a 2 door one will do and I will modify it. MUST be stock please (need it for compliance). Thanks Andrew
  14. hey Chops I just pulled my wheels off the 34 and it seems I do have height adjustable coilovers yay! Feel free to come over to play if you like.
  15. not many, if any
  16. The R34 has arrived in even better condition than expected, has all the things I expected, and has even more power than I expected It is going to make a nice sleeper Chops - I had written 'Batty', but actually changed it to 'NUBS'
  17. yeah it is absolutely awesome Erin - much better condition than anticipated and much more power too! It won't be on the road for at least 6 weeks until I sort various things out with various cars, but at least it is here now!
  18. yeah I saw you and waved too Cillham - obviously my windows were too foggy/dirty too sorry Chapman, but I didn't see you - how are my CAI box and alloy bushes coming along?
  19. got it through Prestige Motorsports. Thanks for the nice comments Thanks NUBS
  20. well I picked up my R34 today and the stereo and turbo timer are still in it! You have to get lucky sometimes!!! Security was suprisingly good at Outer Harbour/North Haven, so I don't think things will go missing here anymore.
  21. picked up my R34 today - still going to be a while until it is on the road .... still haven't found a stock R34 exhaust - THERE HAS TO BE ONE SOMEWHERE IN AUSTRALIA!!!!!! /FRUSTRATED
  22. everyone should have at least one fire extinguisher in their car. I know Booya did have one and it didn't help, but at least it was better than nothing - and it sounds like his turbo timer keeping the car running accelerated the fire, so it was extenuating circumstances. Even better if you come across a car on fire and you can save someone elses car or life.
  23. there is a guy on ns.com selling 6 for $200 if anyone wants more ....
  24. that's why everyone needs to make sure their turbo-timer can't activate unless the handbrake is fully on. Condolances mate - you'll be back better than ever. Very much time to go the Nissan option - if you spent even a fraction of what you spent on the Magna on an R34, you would easily have it in the 11s.
  25. true Chopster but alas, I can't afford that atm. Oosh - ROFLMAO that is classic. Those NASA guys are so 1337!!!
