  1. ba bow!!! Only non-turbos were ever made in Bayside Blue, hence why they are missing the 3 gauges (all non-turbos are missing those gauges). The only way a Turbo R34 can be Bayside Blue is if the car has been repainted, or a turbo conversion has been done on it - in which case the car will not pass adrs and cannot be complied in Aus (as far as I'm aware). Do some searches on Bayside Blue R34s and you will find they did not make them in a Turbo variant (other than GTRs obviously), and I think are known as an R34GTV (as opposed to GTT). Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but in my travels this is what I have learnt. Would you care to post the auction sheet of your R34 Blue_J? - I am interested to see!
  2. ah that was you .... I gave you the 'nod' as I went by - nice ride!!! Was I going in a straight line at the time? I was having traction issues due to the rain! Darn I hate it when that happens hehe
  3. Some of my CS:S clan members and I were talking just yesterday about going to Valhalla this weekend, but then remembered we are going on a fishing charter, so can't make it. We will almost certainly go to the next one. I am way short on warez and software - haven't been to a lan in over a year, and am missing some recent versions .... oh and the pron is good too .... ummm I mean the gaming is good too
  4. yep, that's why you pay crash repairers the big bucks .... manual labour to the extreme! Ash - I'm surprised you didn't like Gold Class - I haven't been yet, but am keen as - comfy chair, wines, movies .... mmmm Ah, and I dug up my old HPIs and it turns out I have almost all the R34 project car write-ups yay!
  5. does anyone know why the sites Ryan listed in Australia have these on their price list for $200, but Nengun has them listed for $300? Makes no sense (since Nengun are generally tons cheaper than any local stuff)! Has anyone fitted one of these clusters? I take it you can do it yourself? Do they come with instructions? Cheers
  6. to be honest, I very much dislike the S2 front bumper - it makes the car look too wide at the front - like there is a big gap between the headlights ....
  7. gold TE37s suit ANY COLOUR CAR ON THE FACE OF THE PLANET imho
  8. I took Carolyn to 2 of them, and to this day she swears she would rather have her eyes poked out by red hot pokers, than watch any of the LOTR movies again .... they are doing the rounds on Foxtel atm, and she hates it that I always want to watch them
  9. yep that synopsis of Batman is quite true .... it really is a well crafted movie too! An interesting movie preview is saw is 'The Island' .... has Ewin McGregor and is futuristic .... looked very cool - not really a 'girly' movie though
  10. yeah Sam, when I added up the reciepts for my S15, parts alone cost over $20k, and have spent well over another $10k putting the bits on and servicing. Scary really. I went and saw Batman Begins on Friday night - bloody awesome movie!!!!
  11. yeah I might have to ask Donnon if he kept all the write-ups they did .... I didn't follow it at all, but now wish I had!
  12. sorry Duc, my photography skills are pretty shite - I am a point-and-shoot camera guy. I think the GTTs put out about 140rwkw standard. Mine with pod and cai box, zorst, bleed valve @ 10psi and SAFC II should be making around 180-190rwkw I would guess.
  13. that's an awesome pic!! Nah no such things as too much power
  14. yep, there are also LS1s that drift here in SA .... the Noodle ute, and I believe they are building Robbie Bolger a new LS1 drifter as we speak.
  15. *drool*
  16. I agree with Chapman - in my S15 the 480cc (corrected by Maxx) injectors were running 99% duty cycle at around 185rwkw. 4 x 480cc = 1,920cc 185rwkw 6 x 270cc = 1,620cc theoreticallly = around 155rwkw. This figure seems wrong with the corrected info from Chapman, but a couple of different places told me I was running very high duy cycle at 185rwkw. Taking them to 250rwkw is theoretically impossible, and highly unadvisable.
  17. damn that FD is noooooiiiiiicccccceeeeeeee!!
  18. we just got home from my brother-in-laws 30th Birthday lunch at the Port Adelaide Footy Club .... mmmm belly full of potato and leek soup, beef schnitzel and pavlova Took these photos when we got home - crazy hail started just as we neared home and continued for around 10 minutes!

  20. where did you get yours complied Damian? I take it Best Enterprises did it (or was it comlpied interstate)? Who did you deal with there? Did you buy a R33 2 door exhaust and modify it, or did you get an R33 4 door exhaust. Where did u get it modified and how much did it cost? Thanks mate. Andrew
  21. nope - apparently they check the part numbers against the model .... the muffler etc has to have the correct details stamped on it, or it won't pass the inspection. Thanks anyhow ....
  22. had 3 of mine under general a few years back - I have to agree with Ash - the only way to go!!!
  23. I am after a STOCK R34GTT exhaust for my car to get complied. Any info on the whereabouts of one would be greatly appreciated!! I am actually after a 4 door one, but can't find one anywhere - so will modify a 2 door one. I am happy to pay for shipping etc .... Anyone???? Andrew
  24. Now my search for a stock 4 door exhaust has been fruitless, I am going to modify a 2 door one to suit. Anyone here know of a stock R34GTT exhaust for sale? Strongly prefer SA seller, mods please don't move!
  25. yeah Carolyn's Honda Accord does the same in the wet if the road is really slippery .... I think I will have the TCS off most of the time anyhow
