Kakimoto N1 rev exhaust has a midmuffler it's damn quiet, even quieter than stock! I love it.

I have finally been able to change the oil myself after getting that three pronged rachet operated oil filter remover from Autobarn. Made a big mess taking the filter off, it's impossible not to make a mess. Relocation kit would definitely be worth it. Wonder if there was a sump plug relocation kit would be nice also, don't have to jack up the car

Hey guys, Up for sale is my r33 gtr that I have owned for one year. Need to save up for a deposit for an apartment. Well maintained, engine is silky smooth. No misfire whatsoever Will post this up on Carsales if no interest from SAU. Major service done June 2010 at Croydon Racing Development (please refer to attachment): - Gates timing belt including idler and tensioner - Nissan water pump - New radiator hoses - A/C belt, alternator belt, power steering belt - Platinum spark plugs - Compression test 165-170 all cylinders. - New Splitfire coilpacks - New Exedy heavy duty clutch Also included: - Kakimoto 3.5inch stainless steel N1 rev catback exhaust (nice and quiet until revved hard). Still have standard exhaust if buyer wants it. - K&N high flow panel filter - Two R34 GTR air flow meters. Still have old AFMs with soldering trick in working condition. - JVC headunit DVD/mp3/CD player. Pioneer amp and a cheap sub in the boot. - Speco boost gauge - Tinted windows - 20 inch Starcorp rims (came with the car when I bought it). - Turbo timer with battery voltage monitor. - Battery in boot. Paint looks surprisingly good for a 15 year old car. Serviced with Mobil1 0-40w oil and Ryco oil filters. No major accidents. No finance owing. Long rego until September 2011. Alternator was re-conditioned by CRD and currently overcharges up to 14.8 volts triggering the battery icon, voltage drops below 14V after 15 min of driving and battery light goes away. I was told by CRD that this can shorten battery life. 3. Window washer spray does not work ?faulty washer bottle motor 4. Front bar lip is missing. Fibreglass one being ordered. 5. Original cluster would be at 99,000km now, it had a faulty tacho so I replaced the cluster with a V-spec one off a forum member, hence the 'early' 100, 000km service. I went under the car to install at catback except half of the bolts would not budge, got the mechanic to do it instead cost $100. Saved me from breaking a fingernail lol

It happens only when the engine is cold. I need to find a good tutorial on cleaning the throttle body for gtr Will give it a good clean.

Hi guys, Past few days i've had problems with the engine stalling right after starting the car. It sputters and loses revs then stalls. However if I give it a bit of throttle for afew seconds then all is fine and I can drive around as usual. I have not modified anything lately besides a catback exhaust. Any ideas?

If you want auto get an r34 gt-t tiptronic. It's turbo and it's auto. Sometimes I regret driving a manual, my left foot hurts in heavy traffic.

Hi guys, Do all r33 gtst/gtr aircons share the same parts? I'd like to know because I'm getting the aircon fixed and don't want mechanics to say that since it's gtr the parts cost more. Cheers!

Whatever you do don't use the ciggie lighter plug (i'm sure u won't). My touchscreen DVD screen had a loose connection with the power source from headunit so I got lazy and soldered it to the ciggie plug wires. Well that ended up nicely with smoke and $200 down the drain

Better safe than sorry! A lot of people try to sell before the 100k mark, coz major service= $$$. Some people overshoot the mark and then make it someone elses expensive problem.

Hey guys, I have this annoying chirping sound when the car goes over bumps it seems to be coming from the steering wheel/column. It's not the keys. Any ideas? Cheers!

Mine did that. Adjust the 'gain' on the amp to lowest setting (you won't hear any sound), then slowly increase it until it starts to whine... then back it off a little. Good luck

Bought my dad one of those for his Honda CRV, worst investment ever. It drops out and does not seek properly either. It was installed by at a professional place too who also warned me of problems with this unit.
