s14 is newer and has an updated chasis which is much better than the s13/180sx ones. Series 1 s14's do not look very good to me but thats personal opinion there are ones i have seen that have looked awesome just rare to find. S14 would def be my choice out of the 3 but i guess if you do mod the car a lot it won't matter that much with the stock chasis differences

What brand are the tyres on the drift teks? Also why are they in primer did they get gutterrash and were planning to respray them?

Bit of a small thing but need the number for the standard speaker covers for the rear speakers in my series 2 r34 GTT (unsure if different to series 1 have been told they are)

That's sweet as man there was a bayside blue SII r34 that i was interested in but the extra 6k asking price put me off. I definitely want to change my front bar to series 1 or an aftermarket one maybe TS bar still deciding might be a pain finding a pearl white s1 front bar so aftermaket will probably be the go for me

get rid of the auto . Nah just kidding (Although i am an auto hater) best bet if you want to up boost is to upgrade intercooler, full turbo back exhaust and a boost controller. If you were to go aftermarket computer i'd recommend getting a better turbo and injectors as well but that would be my personal choice an aftermarket computer/tune will make best use of the mods you do that's for sure

reminds me of mine which i just got recently. Completely stock although mines is series 2 so is a pearl white and had a cd player instead of tape player (unfortunately the cd play had a cd stuck in it so 'Jap FM' was all i had also unless i used my ipod but felt way to dangerous having an earphone in even if i only had one in really is completely different to having a loud stereo hard to explain) and mine didn't have a turbo timer. Now have a new stereo installed which is much better than the standard (they are paper cone stock speakers lol) and also had the alarm installed with it which had turbo timer built in fortunately.

so is it series 1 with a respray or series 2 with the front bar changed?

standard on the cars was 5psi up till 4500rpm then up to 7psi from then on. I have a completely stock 34GTT and wasn't sure whether an exhaust would actually allow the boost to pick up or if the stock controller would stop it from going any higher someone will be able to shed some light

with the whole displacement debate if your trying to compare the 2 motors (which has already been stated as a pointless exercise and has turned this thread into almost 50 pages now) i would go with the rotary being equivalent to a 2.6l piston motor as that makes me the most sense to me by the facts that have been stated.

while i have never really liked and doubt i ever really will like the look of 33's the series 2/3 GTR 33's do look pretty damn nice and would drive nicely too guess it all depends if you win that FPV Boss now

Jets are fun to fly and all but i barely used them in BF 1942 (with the mod for modern vehicles forgotten what that is called now) when i use to play it (never really played much BF2). I have BF2 on the computer and find it rather boring and frustrating that i cannot destroy the environment like i can in BF:BC. Simple things like a guy behind a brick wall i should be able to take him out with a tank shot that brick wall isn't gonna stop that at all but i guess it just depends what people want.

Is the YLOD linked to HDD failure? If not can't you just send it in without the HDD. When sending in the xbox 360 due to the all to common RROD they actually asked me to remove the HDD and any accessories on the console before sending it in.

What is the right way to bedding in a diff? didn't even realise you needed to do anything like that

I'm still abit iffy on these coilovers. Guys on PGA said they liked them also but i'm pretty sure for the price you could get some proper brand name coilovers

Agreed although my old non-turbo s13 was slow as hell it was still fun to push it through the corners in a way that no 1.7t falcon could ever do even after suspension work. I'd say looks like a very stupid setup they have there i'd prefer the stock motor with 1/3 of the power but about 30x the driveablility and fun when it comes to street use
