  1. Hey guys and girls I am gunna make an arc style airbox Has anyone had any bad experiences with the po po because of them it will preety much be the same as the arc but with out the sticker

The clunking in the diff maybe caused by worn our shims not putting enough preload on the gears making them lose and and creating the clunking sound you describe which I think the most likely cause I would not by another one just pull it out and inspect and then get it shimmed shims from Nissan are only like 13 bucks if ur mechanically minded u could do it yourself ... If not take it to a shop It should be around the 500 mark to get the work done I think whic is cheaper than a cusco as stated above factory gtr is a 1.5 way anyways ( I think ) As for sensors replace the 2 just after the turbos they are ute o2 sensors the one on the cat is actually a different sort of sensor it is connected to your light on your dash and will measure ur exaust gas temp it will tell ur ecu if it gets to hot meaning it's leaning out to much which indicates more servere problems which is a story for another day With the hicas Just loop the lines so they run back to the pump ( bypass the hicas when u lock it ) if u buy a proper lock bar kit they should give you parts and info required for the job
  3. I would probably go Cnc laser cut get it drawn up in cad and give them the drawing and material probably want it to be 10 - 12 mm thick
  4. 1. Will most probably be a dodgy o2 sensor not leaning fuel the way it should so just replace them first 2. Hicas system is over 20 years old and the hicas rack is probably just old and shit ! Just put a lock bar on it and don't worry bout hicas anymore ! I personally dont like it but each to there own 3. Is ur diff shimmed can u describe the noise ? Is it like it is lockin the wheels an chirping ? Or is it like its really sloppy lights up the inside wheel ? never really herd or a gtr diff blowing just becoming sloppy and usually u would just shim it to tighten it ... preety sure they are 1.5 way or something similar standard

  6. I think from memory mine was around -20 aye and it was mostly stock do u suspect an intake leak or something?
  7. Are u doing a fancy run over the top? What welder are u using mate ? Ur getting some good colurs there
  8. Yeah but what ever engine you buy may have underlying problems :-( I have a spare engine here preety sure it had bent valve ur more than welcome to take it as parts
  9. Yeah I prefer them over a cannon but my advise to anyone building them or buying them . Ensure u can afford a decent muffler also cause dammmmmmmmmm shit gets loud with twin pipes hahahahah

Ahhh sweet I'll look into ;-) And I finally invested in some gas lenses for my torch and I must admit they made alot of difference to the apperance of the welds(oxidisation) only played with stainless but getting some really nice colors with the welds the gas coverage is awsomE :-) best 10 dollars I spent this week hahaha
  17. Haha fair enough mate was just curious cause I need to do the same thing to one of my manifolds cause my turbo is t2 not t3 so really just after a second opinion of some that has been there before

  21. Hey Ariel what's new mate ? Just wondering do u think welding that t3 flange onto the eBay manifold would create a flow restriction or hotspot ? Maybe warping the flange or fatiguing it?

  23. R33 turbos are t3 turbos also And make the stock one fit mate they are there for a reason and they do what there suppose to preety well If u paint it up it will look mint anyways :-)
  24. I can reach both mine on the 32 it's tight but u can do it u should be able too mate it's preety common for them clips to become brittle and brake
