geez i rang GCG today and was quoted $1900 to highflow my turbo. sorry but just to clarify, you bought the turbo from them 2 years ago, or? maybe they raised the price.

hey mate 254 RWKW yeh? if so thats not bad at all for a highflow especially for that price!, what injectors do you use? also how much did you get charged for installing the new highflow turbo, did it need anything different to fit it or did it slot straight in like before? sorry for the hundreds of questions.. but with my wage, id much rather 254rwkw for $850 or $550, as opposed to 300rwkw for $3000 cheers.

Ok so after going through this thread it seems the garrett 3071 turbo is the best choice since it can achieve around the 280rwkw mark with the least lag??? Im from perth, would anyone know a rough price for one of these? also does it bolt onto my intake and dump pipe? I just dont wanna get my stock r33 turbo highflowed only to get bored of it down the track and wished i had'nt skimped out, and bought something a bit more expensive.

only been pulled over twice, was on green p's on both occasions and caught speeding by unmarked cars (both around 8-9pm on main roads with no traffic ahead, i might add). after breath test/license/lap around the car, i was on my way.. another time they rocked up beside me in an unmarked car and said something like "keep it up and you wont have ya licence much longer" and off they went. hype i think, the amount of bogan commodore drivers around here keep the police more than occupied i think.

from what i've heard of these safc chip/computer, whatever it is, hardly gain any benefits for what its worth. if you can get a nistune, z32 n someone to tune it for 900 go for it!

yeh i went to one a month or so ago, was my first time and the instructor hopped in the 1st time, told me how to handle the wheel properly, and how to turn in better. then the other 10 or so runs after was on my own. not bothered or anything, you pretty much get the feel of things and just try different methods of taking off, approaching/exiting corners etc, keeping the car poised. every cent of the $80 was worth it though.

yeh nothing worse than seeing an r33 with the spoiler missing, the 2 fins sticking out on each side... the eyes!! 32 gts's look alright without spoiler, prefer gtr with. 34's shouldnt come with a spoiler.

+1 advanced driving training -1 powering out of oversteer at high speed in pissing rain, in an auto, with bald tyres...
