ive got 25mm hub-centric spacers on the rears of my 33 for almost 2 months now, including an AHG track session. so i wouldnt really worry about them snapping off mid corner or anything.

lol me and a mate were on our way to barbagello drifts just today. this legitimate bogan looking lunatic probably in his 40's, in a stock vt v6 ute sped up beside us and said the following "HEY MAN I GOT ONE OF THOSE.. 720 BRAKE HORSE POWER..." (was in an r33 gts-t) "oh yeah? you going to the drifts?" "NAH MATE...IIH#$UOGHOFU&*($... THIS IS MY RALLY CAR" gives us a wave and then floors it, gets ahead of us probably at around 70-80kmh. before i know it his car is sideways, fishtailing about 4-5 times, manages to regain control and speeds off. far out couldnt stop laughing, was one of the funniest encounters ive had.

pretty much, i mean its not like all the import dealers would go out of their way to try and stop this from happening

yeh i have 16-17in stockies off an s14 i think. wouldnt know how much roughly a pair of slicks are? i have HKS adjustable coilovers, could i myself fiddle around with them to make it squat more? not really clued up much in the suspension side of things.

13.7 stock? geez im putting out 280rwhp. the 60' was 2.39 on my best run. i guess the 18in wheels and stiff suspension doesnt help? some pretty bad axle tramp on 1st gear when i clutch dumped at 3k rpm.

justcar insurance are the only bunch that would insure me and my r33 gts-t, i rang all the bloody insurance companies. i pay a sh*tload for comprehensive so i dont have to worry if i.. you know what. find and stick with an import mechanic/tuner shop that you know will be in good hands, research who are good and who arent. you will get bored of the NA 2.5L inline fury as time passes, just letting you know after you spend 15k on an NA r34. servicing/parts so far for me hasnt been an issue. a fair bit of aftermarket gear out there. dealers that wont allow you to inspect their car(s)? ask yourself why.

what exactly are you looking to get done? timing belt kit? (pulleys/tensioners etc) or just the timing belt on its own, waterpump, oil's, spark plugs?

you probably will get laughed at mate when you take it on the dyno. merely because of the bugger all HP it makes, not because its an NA skyline. or you could say to people something like "oh the turbo doesnt come on to boost unless it senses a worthy oponent nearby". sell it and import a GTS-t if your unhappy.

thats shit x-trail, i hope that bogan gets whats coming to him, ill keep an eye out for him. my brother bought a mint as f*ck 94 toyota aristo twin turbo, fresh off the boat.. 2 days after he bought it, he was driving about solo when some loser in a white VN commodore was weaving through traffic, trying to win the grand prix, cutting of my bro as he was cruising along. this is what not to do>. my bro gets ahead of him and cuts the bogan off, then sticks his finger out the window. they both rock up to a set of lights before the bogan gets out of his car, runs up trying to punch his drivers side window out (apparently in a frenzied high). gets fed up, probably f*cked his knuckles up a bit too much, walks back and boots his rear quarter panel in leaving a huge crater. gets in his car and drives off. he got the bogan's number plates, and even some witness's details. though couldnt report it to the police, dont ask why lol. anyway through insane luck we were driving around some days after and saw the bogans white VN commodore with the same rego number, parked in someones driveway, i say someone's because we went there a few days later at night time to try and write off his car, only to find the driveway empty, and empty ever since. 2 way street

i havent driven a laggy turbo car yet, though i think id prefer an epic punch in the balls sort of feeling than a constant fondling sensation, if that makes any sense whatsoever.

ahhh ok $850 second hand, thought i had missed something there hehe, thanks for clearing that up. yeah well in that case if its gonna cost $1900 to highflow, might aswell cough up another $1100 and go all out with a GT3076R kit.
