  1. hmm, well id be re-checking all the hoses, making sure theres no air leak around the gasket join. making sure the electric plugs are on all the way. did you reuse the old gasket? and did you need to adjust the idle screw?
  2. yeh i'd be looking into an r type honda aswell, just to be different, and apparently they have a bit of kick in them (vtec yo?). didnt know you could get anything decent for under 10k though
  3. i ended up buying it too haha, bloody hooked on the game around the 1400-1500 mark as i just play with absolute randoms all the time i use Guns1990 as username
  4. hyundai excel i would also suggest to not go blowing too much money on your NA car, save it for the turbo car you want after you get off your p's. when/if you want to sell it, it'll probably be worth a bit more than if it had exahust/wheels etc etc.
  5. SWEET gave this a shot today at last and fixed the stuttering, aswell as smoothed the idle out a bit. thanks so much for the write up!
  6. +1 for the anti-bobjane shit, there might be a few jap copy rims ive seen em do that sorta look ok, part from that, imo they just do not suit skylines, nor imports for the matter. 18" mesh with fat rear dish, cant go wrong
  7. mufflers/resonators/hotdogs, what ever you wanna call them, decrease the noise (dB). the more mufflers; the quieter it is.
  8. buy some ear plugs or ear phones for the missus instead , or chop out one of the mufflers and put a screamer pipe on, see if she thinks its too loud then
  9. hi, i sent pm to R dirdy 3 asking if anymore spots were left for non SAU members, this was a few days ago and was just checking up on it. will pay as soon as i get confirmation. thanks.
  10. or maybe the police car locked his brakes at an attempt to an epic entry into the next corner, until cam cut him off? yeh bloody idiots cutting people off like that, no respect for street drift rules.
  11. hi, yes sorry, it was revealed to me that i am quite blind and didnt see it was on sunday lol. if theres any more spots left for newcomers/non SAU members, id love to join in cheers, luke.
  12. que forum troll
  13. lol cant believe this cup holder battle is still waging on. im siding with Team "who gives a shit about cup holders when you own a nissan skyline"
  14. theives. bloody hell i hate them.
  15. i ended up using the sill, and the jack did its job, no explosions at all! if the car was a few more millimetres lower it wouldnt have fit
  16. 32GTR = expensivish for a decent one (33GTR's about the same price), alot of lemons to choose if your stingy, but it is the godfather and almighty ruler of the GTR's and has the toughest stance of all with the right setup. 33GTR = nicely priced, newer, better interior, also looks tough with the right setup. 34GTR = imo, i just dont like the shape at all, and a bit expensive right now. if i had $50k to blow id put it into a 32GTR. Theres nothing wrong with the R33, hence why they come in by the boatload monthly Theyre probably the best of the whole Skyline/GTR range if anything.
  17. bought a hydraulic jack from supacheap auto for $47, and it JUST fits, phew. thanks again for the tips guys.
  18. LOL sorry, i am officially blind.
  19. spewin, finish work at 1 on saturdays. would like to come if there's any spots available at the next one, will try to get work off.
  20. Hi, i saw the diagram there, though still was hesitant about putting it on the rigid rack parts because wasnt sure if it would suit a hydraulic jack as i dont have one of the genuine nissan ones. and to get to the diff i dunno if i can even get my head in there to see anthing let alone fit my jack in there. car might be a bit too low. shit i think im paranoid that my car will topple over and possibly ignite leading to a gigantic explosion. lol, thanks for the replies guys.
  21. hi, ok so the jack will have to go right in the middle where the diff housing is? or next to it, according to what side wheel your doing? cheers.
  22. hey, i know this is pathetic and for most people is common sense, but if someone could please help a fellow noob out it'd be appreciated. ive been searching on this and other forums about the correct spot for the jacking points for mainly the rear wheels. now when it comes to the chassis side of things im not really educated much in the area, and have heard that the x member (not a clue to what this is), and the diff (diff support, or something?) are good spots for jacking. again, if anyone could enlighten me id be grateful.
  23. i know these guys next door from work that do this artificial grass (supply + install), the first time i saw it i couldnt believe it was fake haha. you can get different types like a perfect looking groomed american green one (not cheesy/fake looking), and a sort of well maintained summer inspired one ( like little patches of faded/dead grass you would normally find) if that makes any sense, lol. if you want i could find out they're number for you.
  24. yet another dickhead wrecking it for the rest of us and giving skylines a bad name. feel sorry for the lady, RIP.
