It's a cool game, i know replay at chermside in brisbane have it...I nearly spooged when i saw initial d flashing in the corner of my eye.
-
i don't know much about the late model rb25's, but one would think so. Got to look at compression ratios and how the boost will affect it i guess, might be easier to put a new engine, or even easier to look for a new car.

If you're going to convert the car to turbo with the current engine, you might want to look at the strength of the current internals of the engine and how the extra boost will affect them.

Is there any issues with 33 wheels on a 32...
Birty replied to Birty's topic in Forced Induction Performance

I was thinking of putting 33 wheels on my 32, is there any reason why it shouldn't be done...apart from cosmetic reasons ofcourse. But they are 16 x 7 are they not...
-
well my car should be back in better nick by then...One way or another we'll organise something if you insist on bringing that shit box 180 down to harrass us. And watch out squizz, dinner is out for revenge

What's the bodykit on this monsta?
Birty replied to funkymonkey's topic in Cosmetic, Styling & Respray
It looks like the M's factory car. I know it ain't it, but it could be the kit. -
Go to the performance forum and have a look at the post, 13.4 second 1/4 for your 'stockish' R33. (A how to guide). Getting 12 seconds out of your 33 mightn't cost as much as you'd think. And besides, rear wheel drive is more fun

i thought the idea behind nitrogen was that you didn't need to top up the tyres.

Well there's only one way to find out... Or at least put em both down the quarter and see how they both go. -

R32 or RX7 Series 5?
Birty replied to R32 Skyline's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
Hahaha, jet33 owns you bud hahaha...sorry... You might seem to be better off, but think of the extra petrol, it'll cost you just as much, if not more then a v8. between that and the sound of a rotor, i don't think i could ever own one for very long. guy at work had a series 3 with a 13bturbo, run an 11.2, think he had it for 6 months at the most, went back into a 180. -
let me just remind you guys that there's no competition, and whoring just for the sake of it is just wasting band width...
-
What can i say, it's so refreshing to see guys looking outside the square at getting good times. It's soo...done, that guys ride around with aftermarket jap suspension, big fmic's, plenty of boost with 18 inch wheels and wonder why they're getting struggling to get low 14's.

Hehehe, i didn't even know you owned that 33, saw it at drag combat and it was quite impressive, but like everything, completly overshaddowed by the hks GODZILLA, cause if ever a car deserved that title, it's that 33. Good to see people living the dream, and i'm only a young bloke so hopefully one day i'll be able to do the same to some extent. and even better to see you drive your own cars. -
Well hks already have twin turbo kits for them, so that's always an option too

So you have a 34 gt 25 and don't even have your learners...wats up wit dat

R33 GTST vs Honda S2000
Birty replied to EnricoPalazzo's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
The 350z should of lunched the S2, i've driven a few S2000's, including the latest update model, which has close to 180kw's, but in a straight line, they're not that quick off the mark. The top end is great, and that's where all the power is produced. A lightly modded 33 should kill it off the mark and in a straight line, put it on a track with a good driver though, and it'd be a different story. And munro, the new s2's are only about 68,000 i believe, so good luck getting 72,000 for it bud. -
Have you got the rear windscreen arm ? And would it be the same as a gts-t ?

Still waiting to hear back from the guys who run the skidpan. Just waiting for the go ahead, once a date is finalised it'll be put on here straight away and talk of payments and places will be on.
