yeah im getting mine done right now at the workshop, thou getting timing belt, all bearings and other bits and pieces done in the area, plus waterpump and tunning. they said its gonna cost like $980.

sweet thanks guys, well yeah it did work when it was put in and adjusted. Reason i changed it was because the crank angle sensor plate had been changed with my previous aftermarket CPU- had some double point plate or some other BS!

is there a difference in the RB20DE and RB20DET crank angle sensor at all???

dude i got no idea about fuel pumps all i know is what i have put in my first post. its basically only got the that serial number on it and 506 circled and 12V, have a look in the pics. i don't know what a bosch 044 or 0910 or whatever is, sorry.... btw its a external fuel pump, NOT a intank

as the title reads, i'm after a stock R32 Gtst Stock AFM! anyone got one they want to sell me???

i need help putting a stock R32 gtst engine loom in my car, i'm planning on putting a new one in as the current one is pretty cut up and modded from a aftermarket CPU. I'm planning on doing it myself but a little unsure as to how hard its going to be and what difficulties i'm gonna come up with. Would a day or 2 be sufficient to put it in??? and willl anything need to be removed or what not to put in it and connect it?? also does anyone have a AFM they would like to sell me??

do these dig into ur disks alot? and would they work well with my bendix advance ones on the fronts? what area in melb are u?

well i think it goes for all boost controllers, that they are illegal, well i know they are in VIC..... Reason being is that your emmisions change as you change ur boost and the CPU and other stuff don't compensate for it to therefore ->richer the car, the more the exhaust and shit that comes out i guess. This reasoning is only from what i believe is the reason, just a guess. And the laws go nuts when it comes to emmisions just like aftermarket CPU's..

yes RB30 with a RB25 is the go i reckon!! my mate is in the process of building one for his EH. I'm sure it would be alot better then any RB26 RWD conversion. if your into building engine conversons i believe the RB30DET is the best!!! not the RB30ET from a VL Turbo either.

are the windows and electric window motors and stuff all still in the doors? and are the windows not scrached?? i'm possibly interested in the doors, how much to send to VIC?? also what colour is the paint work on them??

hey makaveli, ur not friends with a guy called alex (he has a grey R32) are you? cos i remember he mentioned to me that his mate blew his gearbox just the other day in his R32. might be someone else, but thought i'd ask?

farkin hell i can't get over how shit that law is........i get so angry and pissed off when i hear of cops doing such low things. how would they like it having thier car taken away from them and then sold. having it impounded fair enough, but them selling it, thats just too far. we should all write letters to the government saying that the law is unfair espec when they are targeting imports which is discrimenating (spelling??). i hope they don't impose this is VIC soon. and yeah same as bobjones asked, do you get the money when they do sell the car?? and if not, can you take things out of it that you want back, eg stereo, personal items etc....

yeah mine also is a little tendancy to occationaly work then not work, often with a quick tap on the screen it works again......very stange, thou must be a loose connection somewhere. I'm going to have to pull the unit out and check the soldering. Also whats the deal with the button on it which when pressed shows some sort of Japanese writting and degrees? is that outside air temp or wot? Bit off topic sorry but alot of the funtions also didn't work when i bought the car on the climate control but they guy gave me a pile of parts which he thought were the stock amps or something, a bit off lookin around i realised that one was the computer at the back of the car which seemed to fix both the HICAS and the climate control when i plugged it in.
