  1. engineering what on a 32?
  2. don't forget dude it says "plus complience costs" at the end of each one. that could dig a bit of a hole in ya pocket espec if they up the price a bit more then what it actually costs them. but would be interesting to see how much the total price would be......

    got done :(

btw pettette also is always in that same silver unmarked ba falcon. last time i called up VicRoads they were able to forward me on to a few engineers. maybe give them a call, otherwise, if ya still stuck coco, i know one of my mates knows a cheapish engineer in the area. cost him like 100 for his first visit, told him to fix a few things and then he would come back. i'll find out if ya still stuck.....just let me know.

    got done :(

Was it officer Pettette? from Knox TMU? if so, that sucks dude, everyone epec P plates have gotta stay away from that area. its defect and power to weight central! Cops are actually targeting certain people from the forums aswel who are bitchin bout him. have a look in nissansilvia.com.........and by this i mean contacting the site owners to hand over certain peoples IP address's and finding out who they are.
  5. WTB: Canon style muffler (eg xforce), willing to pay about 150. if ya got anything similar let me know. need asap. [email protected] or 0439905132
  6. thanks for the help so far guys. its a 89/90 R32 with a rb20det the miss is mostly noticable at idle with it been a constant intermintant one. (like every 3-5 secs) thou is also noticable with the revs held up higher.
  7. as title reads, i'm after a Manual CPU for a RB20DET or some New Spitfire Coil Packs, would also accept some that have been used very minimally. gotta be at good price. if ya got what i need, PM, SMS /call me 0439905132 Cheers Ben
  8. it couldn't be running that rich to cause a miss surely?!? its basically all stock cept for boost running at 10psi and the fuel pump, and 3" cat back-- that wouldn't cause that many issues would it with the fueling. thou i am getting only like 350km outa a tank but with a bit or hard driving that is...........
  9. got a brand new denso fuel pump put not long ago fuel filter was replaced bout 6 months ago timing is fine when warmed up, thou dunno what its like all the time due to havin a auto computer in the manual car, heard this can change timing whats a ptu?
  10. thanks for the reply zahos, unfortunatlly, taping them up is really only a temporary fix. i have already done that, it helped slightly at high revs but its still got the intermintint miss at idle. yeah you could possibly be right about the SAFC, it is running a bit rich, so maybe thats the issue. i'm gonna try get hold of a ignitor module today to swap if i can.......
  11. yeah forgot to mention, i have replaced the spark plugs a few times now. i've tried platinums, iridiums, and now currently using coppers, gapped to 0.7 i think. i'll probally try swaping the ignitor soon with a mate. coil packs are gonna be changed no matter what as they have those little cracks on nearly all of them at the top, as mentioned in another thread that i've read awhile ago.
  12. well i've had a intermintint missfire in my car for quite awhile now and nearly coming to the point of not knowing what to check next, its also become quite hard to determine which cylinder it is. Diagnosing had become rather a big pain and am asking for help!! so far i've, not all realating to fixing miss but could help.... changed engine loom wiring changed CPU (currently got auto one, and manual car) changed CAS had injectors professionally cleaned and tested changed AFM replaced O2 sensor cleaned ACC valve checked cooler piping for leaks done compression test with 10psi difference at the most replaced coolant temp sensor re wired coolant temp sensor next thing i'm probally going to replace is the coil packs with some spitfire ones, but is there anything else that ive missed out on checking??????
  13. was going to make my own thread but i guess this is suitable to add to this thread as might also be usefull for others. i'm looking at getting some spitfire coil packs for my RB20DET, just curious as to: -> where people get them from for such a good price? (ie $600) -> if they work well with a stock computer? (i'm guessing there shouldn't be any issues, unlike injectors) -> would spitfire coil packs for a RB20DET be interchangeable with a RB25DET? (incase i decide to upgrade the motor in the near future)
  14. i wasn't saying that they are great cars. but just letting him know about them cos he said he felt guilty test drivin personal cars and wasting thier time if he wasn't gona buy.
  15. last time i wanted to test drive a car i went to sei motors i think in dandenong
  16. does the rear bar fit a 4 door 32? and i'm guessing the side skirts don't fit as they are different length. so how much for rear and front bar respectivly?
  17. possibly try reconnecting the wires that you spliced for the tomei kit. when i bought my car, the whole computer at the back had been disconeccted and after i connected it back up the steering was back to normal, as it had been also very heavy as u mentioned. so i suggest trying just connecting the wires back up if u havn't already
  18. basically everything from the behind the front quarter panels is different to the body. eg: doors, rear seats (i think), boot lid, rear lights, rear bar. i don't think they are too much heavier, bout 50-100kg (don't quote me on that) if i can remember, also little bit longer and little bit taller. yes they have been used for drift!! hope these attached pics inspire u.
  19. yeah i'm currently questioning the CPU on mine, as my car has had a conversion done in the past. I've heard the timing can be altered differently by the auto computer due to the fact that it thinks its always in P or N.
  20. i've got a R32 rb20det which used to be auto, but has since been changed to manual. It also had a wolf3d version 3 in it when i bought the car which i have since replaced with the orginial auto computer that came with the car. i've read on HERE and a few other places that the timing is actually changed with the auto computers as when a conversion is done the CPU thinks its always in park or neutral changin the timing to 20 and not the 15 which it should be. is this a bad thing? should i find another CPU solution? (i wanna get myself a autronic at some point anywayz) could this be causing my bad cold starts and intermintint miss?
  21. yeah i believe so, but you'll need a tool such as a Nissdata scan. there is a guy on the forums selling them for about $300 bucks i think
  22. another pic is and
  23. so let me get this straight......INASNT, you can get the full "R32 4 door Vetex Kit" for $1100?? and keeping in mind its a different rear bar and side skirts to the R32 2 door? cos if so i'd be very pleased with that. and will probally be very interested within the next year or so when i get around to buying a kit for my 4 door. i love the vertex kits!!! Horny!!
