Hows it going mate, im a 4th year electrical apprentice. I had a lot of trouble finding an employer, i used an employment agency to begin with to start it, as you see, once you begin, its VERY easy to move around to other companies, if your not getting fired, there is no reason for another company to not hire a first year, a first year is the most valuable thing a company can have due to many reasons, however mainly due to the fact that they can be brain washed into being neat, reliable (working efficiently, effectively, turning up on time etc), a 3rd year for example that has bad habits is very hard to fix...we are going through that right now with a couple of new boys at my company. We are not hiring at the moment but i would be more then welcome to ask for you. We mainly work in the city, and you would be pleasantly surprised how much you would earn as a 1st year with the right company.....may even shock you. Pre-apprenticeship courses: This is often overlooked by the apprentice, however, once this is sat, you are theory minded as a 1st year, before you begin so your not a retard, you have grasped some basic concepts. In 6 months, 3 days a week you will be a 2nd year at tafe. I know your probably thinking how does that help you? Well it shows the employer that you have initiative and you WANT to do the trade...anyone can rock up and say "yeah i wanna be a sparky cos i like wiring up stereos". If you've done the pre apprenticeship course, when you become 3rd year on the tools, you have finished tafe already, your boss now has you 5 days a week instead of 4, (or if you do block tafe - not sure if you can do this as a sparky actually)..So you become very valuable. I might add i started with a terrible company for my 1st year manufacturing switchboards as well, (please pm me what company you are with currently), but like i said...you are now an apprentice...just apply for everything..

This is the exact reason why i haven't purchased my turbo yet....i was also looking at the 3076/6boost mani/gate package offered by horsepowerinabox.com and these posts just go around in circles all the time...so the only way we get the 3076 "real? - best? /shrug) is to purchase through garrett?

Don't want to hijack the thread....but just if anyone knows...i got an s14, with an rb25 poking out the front....would i be able to just buy a normal s14 radiator? or would i have to look at r33 ones, just because of the rb25>sr20 Aiden

My mate has one on his vl turbo with an rb25det in it...that exact one, it was a leaking piece of crap...sounded the part...but boy did it leak...we put stock dump back on and it cracked along...was a suprise how much of a difference it made. I had one though on my sr20..and it never leaked, but a friend has one that does leak, the overall quality of the item is crap to be honest, but if you get lucky with one that doesn't leak, should be ok...

This should be a direct fit on a 3076 yeah?

I have seen this exact sympton after a damaged intercooler.....my mate got his car towed and it got slightly damaged getting pulled up onto the truck...and after that it was really slow to reach 10psi

Hows it going, pretty much i don't know too much about all the turbo specifications/housing sizes, a/rs, trims 0_o etc etc I'm in the market for a garrett 3076 .82 rear housing? Now i don't really want this thread to be about "oh but you should" i have pretty much made up my mind with this im just confirming some details for peace of mind. so as follows gt3076 .82 rear housing .50trim surge slotted comp cover 5r trim? (ok this is the area...i have nfi what this is haha) anything i have left out? Please let me know!!! oh and i want to be externally gated im looking for about smack on 300rwkw in my s14 cos sr20s are poo Just wanted to check does this turbo make sense and would i need to include anything else to make sure i get nothing but the genuine parts (i've just read about all sorts of bits and pieces being used) Cheers Aiden
