  1. Got one out of Nissan in Sydney. Thanks guys. tbag, Con had nothing. He was one of the 1st places I tried.
  2. O-rings in the Indy injectors were too big for the intake. New o-rings and wiring to go.
  3. Here's the shots of the two new -8AN lines run to the front and the tidied up boot setup. A lot less cable ties (there are almost none now) and looks a lot neater.
  4. Yes it's normal. The extra exhaust gas volume will almost always create a higher boost value once the nitrous is activated, particularly on a standard turbo with a small/already choked exhaust housing. Here is a dyno plot of my car with 13psi set on the boost controller and no nitrous and then 12psi on the controller with 100hp shot of gas. You can see that even with the duty on the boost controller turned down, the extra exhaust gas volume spiked the boost above the desired level. Also note how the small exhaust housing chokes off power production in the top end with or without the nitrous.
  5. Paul got sucked into the carbon fibre injector hat of a 5.9sec Top Alcohol Dragster @ about 500ft and is currently posting from beyond the grave. His responses, therefore, are somewhat delayed.
  6. Similar to mine on the RB25 and very effective. Good job.
  7. Hi Mate - the return from the engine is -8AN which I think will be plenty large enough. It's the top-most feed in the side of the tank. The feed to the surge tank (just below the return from the engine) and overflow from the tank back to the main fuel tank (very top fitting) is -6AN.
  8. Started plumbing up the surge tank, new rail, feed and return lines and other stuff today. It's not finished and the cable ties are only to hold things in place while we measured to get the right length of braid etc and won't be there when it's all done. All done with proper bulkheads in the boot and teflon braid so as to sto as much fuel smell as possible. Big thanks to Steve from Steve's Speed Shop and BezerkR32 for their assistance.
  9. Hi All, Anyone in the Gong/Illawarra region of NSW that can spare a rubber injector bush to suit an RB25DET cylinder head, please let me know asap so I can come and give you some money for it. Cheers, Adrian - 0416271834

  11. Yes sir.
  12. Something that's a long way off mate.
  13. Finally getting back around to tinkering with the red car and finishing the fuel system. Have booked a couple of buddies, a case of beer, some steak and a bbq for this weekend. Should have it up and running Saturday arvo. Family stuff, Xmas, dollars and a new race car purchase stalled things somewhat. Leigh from ETM made up a really nice surge tank setup for me and mounted the pumps etc. I'm bracing for the Speedflow bill (scary shit) but with Steve's Speed Shop and MSCN looking after me, it won't be as bad as it could have been.
  14. Comes with a sexy lookin' B&M gearknob as pictured too.
  15. Biting tongue. Real hard.
  16. You can grab one from a Nissan dealer. the genuine one is probably the best one to use but I have a spare aftermarket one sitting here doing nothing from a VRS kit that you can have cheap if you're keen. You should be able to just ask for one from Nissan parts.
  17. I'd kick off on .030 and .020 but realistically your 34/20 could work too. Make sure you know what your fuel pressure is (should be about 3bar and stable through the rev range) and that your bottle temp doesn't exceed 950psi. Using the CAS to back the timing off will work but it's a bit agricultural and will make the rest of the tune-up shitty. I'd try and pick up a PowerFC, have it tuned and the use the ignition trim function whenever you're running the gas. As for the stock injectors working with that turbo and boost, I have no idea.
  18. As per thread title. 6spd conversion from JZA80 turbo supra. Includes twin-plate clutch, shifter, pedals, etc. $5k firm. Located in Wollongong and will ship at buyer's expense.
  19. MEGALOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. Come on softy... he's only got 3.5 SECONDS and 100MPH on you!
  21. I'll find a copy somewhere and send it out. The car came up great so you really should have one. Pm me a postal address and i'll get one to you.
  22. Auto diff should be the same strength wise but be 4.33:1 Should be helping acceleration and not hindering.
  23. Hot car, looks great in print.
