  1. One night in the shed with a tape measure. I shit you not.
  2. Here's hoping someone got my 11.44 from the run previous.
  3. Thanks for the videos mate. Much appreciated. Not exactly my best racing though. The first round was a gift and i was off it too early in the second. Archer's a great racer though and he pushed me all the way.
  4. Had a good day all up. Car finally hooked up on the transbrake and went 11.44 @ 120.84mph. The sixty wasn't awesome - 1.73 - and there's more to come. On another note, HO-LY SHITBALLS twoogle is an animal with the big single. Wow!
  5. I have a bunch of 2 for 1 entry vouchers if anyone needs them.
  6. Oh snap! So funny. So, so funny. At least I can't swap your shit for broken parts that way, Anth. Or will your mum have you tied up and you can't race? * * Waits for fellow MMM listeners to recognise Anth's voice the other day. LOL!
  7. I wouldn't worry about drive shafts paulie. My nan hasn't ever broken one and she shifts quicker than you. As for wrecker engines, forklifts and homo-erotica, well, let's just say that's right up GT's alley.
  8. I'd like to know the turbine inlet pressures on my setup but more from a boost control scenario than an exhaust system design POV.
  9. Gradually raising the rev limit is fine but there's little that's gradual about constantly hitting it. I let go of the transbrake at 8psi and it just spun. I'll be making some changes to get these tyres to hook but letting go of it at less than a pissy 8psi aint one of them. I am allowed boost control in any form I like as long as it isn't reactionary.
  10. I'm waiting to see pics of my big off at turn 4.
  11. Not an option. Reactive traction control in a race car is not allowed.
  12. The converter is a 4k-ish TCE that locks up when it can. i could only get a few psi on the footbrake so it tool till 60' to come on song. I have only had one pass on the transbrake and lets just say the radials didn't like it. Even letting it go at 8psi. More refinement is required.
  13. No dyno sheet. Didn't bother to print one. I drove it off the line for the 11.7 so the sixty was a yawn-worthy 2.0 seconds. It weighed 3250lbs race weight so you can do the math if you like. The response of the 1.0 rear is fine with the big converter but there's a lot more to come.
  14. 280kW @ 19psi - 11.7 @ 121mph. Go the auto.
  15. Keen for a mag feature? Do want!
  16. Powercruise Confucius Paradigm #33 "If car is broken, whore rides with other ricers."
  17. Just got home. Car behaved on the 130k trip back and didn't make life difficult. I reckon there will be some really great photos from this event as there seemed to be a photographer on every corner.
  18. Sitting in garage 24 and eating my first real food that isn't sausage/bacon in days. Relaxing with guilttoy, benm and the boys, waiting for the racing to start. Massive thank you to dave and his tool wench for their assistance in removing the gear box, helping to rebuild it and putting it back in. Totally unexpected and appreciated.
  19. What a combo! Even at 600kw it would be super fast. If you're going to put that much power down you're going to need some serious suspension tweaking or a bigger tyre. That said, plenty of cars are going quick on 28x9's. It would be pointless in my view to drop in tyre size just to fit the ST289 class but you might find your 4link mods exclude you anyway. Your car would fit in Super Mod (or whatever it's called now) in the Sport Compact Group events and super sedan at ANDRA events. I will look closer at the Super Compact rules for you to see if you can fit into group 2 somewhere but feel free to call and/or email Ray at Sport Compact Group. He's more than happy to help racers out with classification.
  20. Settle down fellas. It hasn't run it yet and even Paul will tell you, you have to earn your stickers.
  21. Our impromptu cruise managed to fill the back of a truck. It's small but I guess it'll help. Got about 20-25 cars and everyone brought something. Darren and Kym from Compact Car Rentals in the Gong donated their time and one of their trucks Loading the truck at the cruise starting point, Shellharbour Workers Club Part way through loading truck at cruise destination - Warrawong Maccas LS1 powered Commodore - sounded tough The nugget A nice HQ stroker
  22. LOL!!
