    There is nearly 10 litres of oil in the engine. Should something go wrong, I'd prefer that the catch-can will be able to deal with a large-ish breathe before dumping it elsewhere (under the tyres for example). It's for safety's sake. What's wrong with that? For a smart guy you sure come out with some weird ones. Jas, first skids on Monday.

    Had Leigh from Extreme Turbo Manifolds make me up a custom catch can today. The guy is an artist, what can I say? These are the push-in fittings that tufrx3 turned up for me. They were a tight fit (a good thing) and I'm happy with the finish.

    I knew what you meant - maybe we mean the same thing I was just saying that the tune-up on race fuel with the extra timing would likely have relieved some of the back-pressure issues you had. Like I said, we're probably saying the same thing...

    The better fuel may have negated the restriction more than you think if the restriction was in the exhaust/exhaust housing.

    Thanks Pauly. Rumours get around in this scene faster than if my missus was telling her girlfriends!! It's true that I am leaving Extreme Magazine to take up a new position and even though it's only a little while away, I just can't wait to get stuck in. I've been reading this mag forever and I'm wrapped to be a part of it. Tough, turbocharged cars that go hard. Right up my alley!
