The point wasn't for everyone to think that it was about them but to simply think about the repercussions if a business owner should choose to take things further. SAU isn't owned by some random faceless blob. There are real people with real assets that can get sued...for real. Basically, this website and forum aren't your private playground. It's really easy to understand if you try. The job of Moderators/Admins isn't just to move threads into their right sub-forum and dish out warnings when juveniles get personal and abuse other users during school holidays. We have a real role in protecting the owner of this forum from flippant, throw-away comments that could personally impact them financially and legally. I didn't say you'd said anything libelous about a business but you seem pretty happy for others to do so, even though this practice could put the entire operation of the forum in jeopardy. If you don't like how the forum is run then I suggest you click the "Report Post" button and have someone else deal with it. I have a feeling you'll get the same answer though.

You guys have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Especially Hypnotik. It seems you like to talk about things you've neither done nor have experience with. In other words, you're regurgitating misinformation you've been fed without having the first clue what you're on about. I ran 275's on my 17 x 8's and had no problems. And I'd think twice before suggesting I didn't have enough of the tyre on the track because I have timeslips (read: real world personal experience) to back it up.

Everyone gave their point of view but when the libelous statements were questioned both in the thread and via pm, there was no response. Personal insults were made and as the thread had degenerated beyond salvation it was closed. If you see a problem with that then I suggest you report whichever actions/posts you have a problem with to a moderator.

It turned into a slanging match with personal insults and disparaging/potentially libelous remarks.

It's not your fault, mate. At the risk of sounding on-topic, your car is making the right horsepower for the mods you've got but there are two things you need to do to make it a much, much better/faster/more pleasant car to drive. Step 1/ Sack your bleed boost controller and go buy a Turbosmart Eboost II Step 2/ Sack your tuner. They may be competent but they're completely full of shit. A quality EBC will bring the boost on early and keep it there. A quality tuner will make sure your engine lives once you do the above. Good luck, mate.
