  1. My .02c. I didn't actually put too much thought into the setup so I just overcompensated at every turn. One pump, two pumps, meh. Whatever. Three 044's are in this picture (one you can't see in the tank.
  2. 7.977 after qualifying was the best by the looks
  3. It would have to be a ferociously shit-house power delivery to genuinely make 400kW and run 126mph. My car made 335kW on the same dyno I've always tuned it on and ran 128.51mph @ 3243lbs. To be honest, the 335kW figure isn't really represented in the weight for power calculation either but it's a darn site closer than 126mph and 400kW. The OP also mentions shitty street tyres and bad 60' times which will normally help mph (and hurt ET) so this isn't right either (even though the sixty was a respectable 1.8). I'm not taking anything away from the run. 126mph is 126mph after all. But Blind Freddie could see in the first video posted that the power delivery is good and that the gate is open more often than it's not.
  4. I like my 25. Not carried away and tuneable just the way I like it. Stock RB25's making ferocious power all end in pieces. It's poor advice when we're talking about the "ultimate rb25".
  5. The first thing 126mph says is that the car isn't showing 400kw.

  7. The absolute reality of the situation is that any major retail fuel supplier will dick around with the percentage of ethanol in the mix. I don't even think it'll be called E85 at the pump. Probably 'high ethanol unleaded' or similar. Whether an argument for a seasonal mix exists in Australia (I don't believe it does), the fact of the matter is that fuel companies will use the cost of ethanol at any given time and their ability to vary the ethanol content to leverage the wholesale cost of unleaded petrol. In short, the mix will almost certainly change between 70% to 85% without warning and you won't know when or where.
  8. 250kW is enough for 11.8's @ 117mph on drag radials in an R33 GTST.
  9. I doubt you'd be able to do so to a point where air in the intake is anything but turbulent, mate.
  10. VR Commodore 5L cable
  11. Some photos from Compak Attak 2010
  12. Updated time: ECR33 - 255/50/16 MT ET Street Radials, E85, no gas
  13. I always wanted a Greddy plenum on my RB25 (hairstyles I guess) till I saw how well put together the Plazmaman stuff is and recognised how good the stock RB25 runners are for almost every application.
  14. Great effort mate! Congrats on making the final and doubly so on having the smarts to stage-up in the final and take the prize money!
  15. Bwaahahaha
  16. Right on both counts.
  17. I do
  18. I had 4 passes during the day. Backed things off for Q2 so I could qualify and then turned it up a bit for Q3 and first round. Q3 I hit the boost cut in the eboost and ran 11.5@117 on wastegate, first round I blew a cooler pipe in the burnout. The 11.5@117 pass left harder (1.621 to the 60) which indicated a high 10.6 plus whatever the extra boost would have done. Shame I didn't get another pass in but the car performed really well and drove there and back (260kms).
  19. Had a good day today and ran a personal best (which is always nice). Massive thanks to benm for being the pit crew extraordinaire, Yavuz from Unigroup Engineering and Eian from Royal Purple.
  20. 10.71 @ 128.51
  21. It's been a work in progress for 8 years.
