    Scott Porter drove his VQ35DETT-powered G35 Infiniti to a world record 6.48 @ 216mph yesterday at Sydney Dragway. This is the baby motor and Scott is still learning the ropes. The quickest he'd gone before this car was 12.5 in his Valiant!

    Niceties of a daily driver? Lol. Sometimes I forget that my priorities don't extend to giving a shit about those things. Still the car functions perfectly well, doesn't stall, steers fine and doesn't have air-con.

    Can't see why it would. The clearancing is extremely minor and will more than be made up for with grout and sleeves.

    Got the crank. Brad from Spool was kind enough to send down the older style semi-counter crank to clearance the block with while his stock of full-counter new models arrive. What a gentleman.

Turns to 9000rpm, peak power at 1052hp @ 7850rpm on that run and peak torque 732.3ft-lbs @ 7250rpm. > 600hp from ~5800rpm > 800hp from ~6300rpm > 1000hp from ~7200rpm to ~8300rpm Add Methanol, a 91-94mm turbo and a damn site more than 34psi and I'll have one please :-)

    IAC valves can easily be replaced by a competent tuner. My Plazmaman plenum allowed me to run the stock RB25 IAC (upside down / had to extend two wires) but I ended up pissing it off and replacing it with a piece of flat steel, some silicon and the bolts that normally hold the IAC in place.

    This is the Spool 95mm/3.4 kit. 83mm Precision, 9000rpm.

    RB34 semi-counterweight kit in Russia. 1070hp @ 34psi. Does it too easy.

    Gerg, do you forsee any extra clearancing with the 3.4 crank on an RD when compared to an RB?

    Going to remove the Sparco and fit the stock S2 airbag wheel this weekend. Sparco piece retails for $459 but will sell it with the WB boss kit for 300.
