I don't know about boost guages but autometer tachos never evre sit back at zero. They autometer website has a response in their faq about it saying THEY ALL DO IT DONT WORRY! Mechanical boost guage though?!?! Wouldv't thought this would zero perfectly... Just my 2.2c

Cleaned AFM yesterday after spending an hour changing a simple fuel filter... farking mahzahdah! anyway... Spent 30 mins researching (read: SDU search) for AFM maintenance and removal of mesh. I decided that I could see the benefit of removing the rear mesh all together but not the front one for reasons already mentioned in previous posts. Cleaned it in CRC Carby-Clean, cleaned inside of intake pipe, bashed about 3 tonne of shyte out of the k&n pod while i was at it and put it all back together. That plug was a prick to get off too! Idles a bit more smoothly, (can feel it as well as monitor it on power fc), have shit fuel in atm so can't test the difference in terms of a gtech or even general thrashing but ill get back to that asap!

Okay then. Off to service my fiancee's 323 then AFM cleaning and south beach cruising thyme! Nice!

Martin, Liked the story in HPI this month. Was spun out by the difference the new pipework made on the twin. Quick question: Why is HPI so damn expensive and so thin?
