Cleaned AFM yesterday after spending an hour changing a simple fuel filter... farking mahzahdah!
anyway...
Spent 30 mins researching (read: SDU search) for AFM maintenance and removal of mesh. I decided that I could see the benefit of removing the rear mesh all together but not the front one for reasons already mentioned in previous posts.
Cleaned it in CRC Carby-Clean, cleaned inside of intake pipe, bashed about 3 tonne of shyte out of the k&n pod while i was at it and put it all back together. That plug was a prick to get off too!
Idles a bit more smoothly, (can feel it as well as monitor it on power fc), have shit fuel in atm so can't test the difference in terms of a gtech or even general thrashing but ill get back to that asap!
