i'll now be driving down 1st thing saturday morning and staying all day then driving home again... my mates lj is on the dyno @ 10am saturday morning and i'm not gonna miss that for anything!!! So i'll be in the dyno cell from about 9:30. Hope to catch up with some of you down there. Might even stay longer as my 2 day passes turned into 2 season passes. Assuming I don't use them, does anyone want them to use on the next 2 days? I'll be back in the gong... Adrian

Compared to that, mine is an absolute mess but still holds pressure no problems... Had coloured smoke pumped through it and none came out so it;s all good. The fins are made of super soft metal that oftens snaps off when straightening so b careful. I broke heaps of mine but it still works so don't stress too much. Adrian.

What a load of rubbish. Compared to a couple of my mates who drive Gen III's etc, i'm a flaming peasant... The fact that we have better cars has nothing to do with having more money. NB: IMHO, anyone who says that anyone else is a chequebook racer is a hypocrite or jealous or both. Simple. Mario doesn't own a workshop, it isn't a promotional vehicle that will see him pumping Motul into Yokahama's finest, it's his car to do with as he pleases. Good on him. :lol: :Owned: Okay.... I think some of the guys are making an early Sunday morning nasho run and will get to the gong around 10-11??? please correct me... I'll be recovering from a hang-over from watching the mighty Wollongong Hawks at the Sandpit tonite so I'll lob around 12ish... **Sunday afternoon in the gong only really happens after 1-2pm** For the guys coming up from Nowra/Can'tberra etc, I don't guess you'll be in the gong till the early arvo as well so i suggest we meet at North Beach first and cruise on from there. Also, bring your radios and keep em on ch 32/33/34. We should all cruise out to the grain terminal and get some photos. Went there with some guys from the GSR club a year or so back and it's an unreal spot for a shoot. Zoom use it all the time. Anyone need directions? PM or email me if you like. Cheers

no there wont. this argument/discussion/debate comes up a couple of times a year and both sides stick vehemently to their guns saying that they have it from a reliable source etc. well, here's a thought. check the back issues of AMCN and Two Wheels for the past 10 years and you'll see that it has become such a long tradition that they now have April fools jokes in these and other publications saying that this will take effect as of (insert date here). In short Rubbish. Beg to differ. Privacy legistlation (IN THIS STATE - NSW) says that you can't. This needs to be ammended and as of today (27/12/2002) it hasn't been. Sorry, but this is incorrect too. The cameras at the bottom of Ousley are on the other side of the road to what we're used to, i.e. the same side of the road as you is USUALLY the side that takes the photo. Not in this case. You will notice that when next you drive past them that they are placed so as to catch all lanes in both directions. e.g. The South bound camera is on the Western side of the road and catches ALL 3 lanes. The two coming down Ousley as well as the traffic from the on-ramp and the lanes from the gong heading south... NOT the two lanes going towards Sydney. Similarly, the North bound camera is on the Eastern side of the road, staring you in the eye as you round the bottom bend of Mt Ousley Rd on your way down. This is so as to catch ALL traffic Sydney bound and not just those BEFORE the Uni on ramp. Worth it for you Sydney guys to keep an eye out cos you wont notice them straight away. Of course, as with all fixed speed cameras, they have to be posted and they are not yet. I imagine that they will pay for themselves fairly quickly though. All the best, Adrian
