  1. Yes it's the swaybars job but I have to disagree with you in that they absolutely do reduce bodyroll. The struts are restricted in their forward/back movement by the brace which in turn reduces bodyroll. Whether that's what they're for is moot. They simply do do this.
  2. yeah, and this happens about 2/100ths of a sec after the loud pedal is pressed and the clutch let out. Don't think for a second that the stock 4WD setup keeps it in RWD for anything like a whole run.
  3. I've driven R33's with and without and i have to say that the selby's sway bars from whiteline that are on my car ROCK MY WORLD!!! others on this forum have them as well and by all accounts, they love them too. Go to www.whiteline.com.au and check it out.
  4. it is an awesomely tough car with (at the time serious perf 6 was made) very little (internal) engine work. the auto box is part of this cars magic... very worthwhile... does awesome burnouts and power drifting and in the dvd versions bonus thingo's. almost takes out the director on a corner that he over cooks..
  5. congrats mate. well done. Atessa.... ROFL
  6. Has anyone got a link to this?!?!?!?! FAARRKKK!!!
  7. I'll be there... But I guess i'd be there anyway... Saturday and Sunday... 14th or 21st... I have no life... Please bring one down from Sydney. Thankyou.
  8. just doesn't do it for me, ey... don't know why. not a fan of such a sleek car having big cumbersome wheels and a comfy, laz-y-boy style interior... just think they're better suited to looking fast etc... once again, just my $0.02
  9. vomit... not the least tasteless car i've seen but i don't find it very appealing at all. just my $0.02
  10. Can everyone please post and/or email/pm me their results from the day? thanks
  11. how much is not much? thx
  12. into town then south beach for my Sunday sabbattical. i'm there most weekends.
  13. so.... umm...
  14. My GOD that's a hot car, man... I chased you but you were long gone..
  15. i didnt invite them... no probs...
  16. yeah yeah, orright... and stuff me if that wasn't the most 'lines i've seen all at once outside of autosalon. what goes on at that maccas on saturday nights??? I'd just had 2 hours on the dyno and a very VERY long day so i went home to bed instead of leaving for the runs at MIDNIGHT! you crazy bastard! yes. but weren't the suggestions and/or observations made about each car worth it? Easy to see when you're talking to a wanker or someone that knows what they're talking about in this industry at these kinds of days isn't it?!?! All in all, I think it was a good day. Please email me any and all pics you have of the day. It would be greatly appreciated. Nice of the Sussex boys to make the trip too.
  17. yes the panel shop just bent the pin back straight again and it works like a charm again. unplug your headlight plug and make sure that power is getting to the appropriate pin etc at the appropriate time. Good Luck
  18. Okay... Nothing so interesting as ground leakage but it seems as if the fcukwits that fixed my headlights bent the power pin for the low beam. Not happy, Jan. Anyway, now my central locking isn't working AHHHH!!!!
  19. Over the past few weeks, my central locking has been fading. The motors still work properly, the immobiliser activates and deactivates correctly, the hazards flash how they're supposed to when i push the button on the remote. What DOESN'T happen is the doors unlocking from the remote. I can unlock both doors with the key, the drivers side does both and the passenger just does that side. The switch for the passenger door on the drivers arm rest works and both sides operate correctly when you're in the car. It's as if the signal is getting to the immobiliser but not the locks. Does anyone have any suggestions? The problem was happening intermittently and is now an 'all the time' affair. Thanks in Advance, Adrian
  20. Done, done and done! Will be an unreal day with a couple of 8's to make clowns out of Call me on 0417009831 or email to [email protected] with any questions EXCEPT FOR HOW TO GET THERE!!!
