  1. Put it this way; the Aussie distributor only got 44 of the 275/17's and they were all sold in two days. I reckon the manufacturer is holding out on them to be honest. The 18's still work bloody well. I've run just as quick to sixty-foot with the low profile versions as I have with the 50 series.
  2. Tell me about it!!! The 255/50/16's and 275/40/17's are the two most popular sizes with Skyline guys'n'girls. They're not receiving enough stock and it's all selling out straight away as backorders.
  3. I get PM's all the time asking for my price on Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials so I thought it'd be easier to just post them all here and if you need some you can let me know. These are the only ones in stock at the supplier right now so it's pointless putting up prices for the other sizes as they'll likely be different when they finally lob in Aus. All prices are each. 4. They say that variety is the spice of life, John. Just keep it in private for all of our sakes.
  5. Ouch. Out of interest, Spool has some pretty bloody fantastic deals on rod/CP piston combos. Just a thought.
  6. Mate, Spool rods are the go and come with ARP bolts. The lighter you can make your engine's rotating components (without compromising strength) the better. They're bloody good value too, especially when you compare the cost of prepping old rods with new bolts. It's just not worth the effort.
  7. The gaskets in aftermarket sets suck the big ones. Buy a genuine Nissan exhaust manifold gasket and any engine oil seals you're changing.
  8. For the Lose. (Opposite of For the Win). I'm old too but I'm trying to be hip with the kiddies....and failing. (For shame.....)
  9. How long is a piece of string? Most racers will get easy one season out of them - say, six events with 5 passes per event. But that's only if they're turning them bloody hard in the burnout. If you're weak-sauce like Paulie D (sorry Paul, you know I love it) and you only smoke them when the cameras are rolling, then they'll last a lot longer.
  10. How far off is it, Ben? What's left to do? I can't wait to see what Marky-Mark can do with your tune
  11. Check your application here: compatibility chart I have the ECR33 non-Hicas mounts part number ending 585
  12. No. No it's not. It's way off - try 100hp or so. LOL @ GTech. Timeslips don't lie. Nope. Sorry. 100hp might not be a big variation if you're making 1500hp but comparing 400rwhp to 500rwhp is an overestimation of about 25%. I stand by my statement. Traction, even with your excuse-o-meter pinging as hard as it is, wont account for the over-estimation of your hp. Wheelspin very infrequently affects terminal speed. No there isn't. Mate, the very best advice you can take from my post is that MPH doesn't lie and that the time shown on a timeslip shouldn't be used to calculate power. Nope.
  13. 33 GTR rims would've been my suggestion unless you already have some?
  14. Sad but true, Ben.
  15. If you can fit a 275/40/17 under there then yes, no problems. And they're awesome.
  16. They'll work too and be cheaper but they're heavier. Prob won't make much of a difference but every little bit helps. They're 16 x 7.5" as opposed to 16 x 8" for the GTR rims.
  17. I must be looking in the wrong place or searching for the wrong thing. I couldn't find one set.
  18. 4 x 32 GTR rims and 4 x 255/50/16 Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials. If you can organise the wheels I can hook you up with the rubber.
  19. Dude, beg/borrow/steal 4 x 32 GTR rims and some Mickey radials and there's a very low 11 in that car if not a high ten.
  20. Not much to update at this time. The new Turbosmart fuel pressure regulator and gauge have been mounted and plumbed by stu at Bezerkly so all the car needs now is some cooler pipes modified, a dump pipe made, a tiny bit of electrical and a tune. Will get some pics just as soon as there's something worth taking a pic of.
  21. Is that from the same people who brought you "2hrs labour/install for a plug-in ECU" ??
