  1. Just stopped in at Profab to find all the work done. The piping has all been done and improved (less joins and now alloy instead of steel) and the dump, gate and some other stuff has all been finished. Tomorrow morning it goes to the auto electricians to get some wiring extended for the IAC motor, oil pressure warning light and switch and the AFR meter connected, and then from there it's back to the workshop for fire-up. I've got next week off work to get it going and tuned. Cannot wait. I also have to thank Greg from Turbosmart for his support. It's a sea of blue under the bonnet now with the list of Turbosmart gear now including: - 50mm Progate - FPR-1200 Fuel Pressure Regulator - Fuel Pressure Gauge - Supersonic BOV - EBoost 2 EBC - Turbosmart Silicon (lots) It's all great stuff and dead easy to fit. Their tech support guys are pretty bloody handy too!
  2. They have definitely left. I rang and made sure this morning. (Toll IPEC)
  3. Done.
  4. Simply adding C16 won't do the trick. You'd be better off buying one of the many racing unleadeds and having the car tuned to suit. It's not all about the octane rating of the fuel though as some race fuels will burn quicker than pump and require a richer setting on your fuel maps. Only then will they be able to take the added timing and make some more power. Out of interest, C16 has its place but IMHO it's sure as shit not in a street-driven RB26 like yours. It's a leaded fuel which has implications for O2 sensors, catalytic converters and the EPA, the last of which comes with a free multi-thousand-dollar fine if you're busted running it on the street.
  5. Brett should have his new Mickey's today!
  6. Sweet. Don't forget the small goods platter for Jambo and the support van!!!
  7. I will get those measurements for you this afternoon Benno!
  8. Too right, Ben. AND I had to borrow the 20c to front the bet!!
  9. As long as they don't let any LS1 powered, yellow R32's in Stu it'll be all good.
  10. Almost sold all of the 295/17's.
  11. Cooler pipes finished today and car at auto-elecs getting oil pressure warning light and AFR meter wired. Just have to run a line to the ECU's MAP sensor and then we'll fill it with fluids and fire it up. You've got a bet, Paulie! One shiny, silver 20-cent piece and a cold beverage sound fair? Game?
  12. Ben, the race is on! Who will be ready first?
  13. - Greased stick - Arse - Gay Club - Couldn't Gotchya!
  14. Spoken like someone who knows. lol...
  15. Just another reason not to persevere with GTR rubbish
  16. Joe at Profab has made the 4" dump pipe for me and fitted the O2 sensor, plumbed the gate back and is remaking the cooler pipes (some were still made of steel) and what was there wouldn't work with the front facing plenum and different location of the turbo. Joe also modified the power steering pump to space the pulley forward in the bracket. Here's some pics.
  17. So the MT's are 255/50/16. What are the 18's? Need to work out the tyre height.
  18. Any circuit rubber is only ever as good as every other street tyre out there when it comes to drag racing. I've tried a bunch and they're no better than $150 shit. Drag racing has very specific requirements from tyres and feeding it in half measures is pointless. If your plan is to buy Azenis or something similar, don't buy anything and just go racing. If you actually want to run quicker times, buy some MT's.
  19. Jim Berry single plate for that power and as many launches as you want. Buy the twin if you want the appeal of 'saying' you have a twin plate clutch.
  20. They're a world of difference compared to the M/T's. Just let me know if you want them and I'll hook you up.
