  1. Received a text last night saying that the NHRA requires a 4-point cage quicker than 12.000. Nasty!
  2. It's a valid point, Gary and one that several people have raised with ANDRA that I know of. One of them ran a 10.1 on his 100% completely stock standard bike (ZX12R) and if he goes quicker than a 10.000 (which is highly likely given his inexperience), he'll need to front big dollars to race - even at street meets. And this is before it even gets a can or an ECU!!!
  3. 1 x red RPM harness - $50 1 x Malpassi rising rate reg - $100 Complete R33 GTST interior trim. $? R33 Skyline Aircon bits (condensor, pump, fan, bolts etc) - $? R32 R200 diff housing and guts - assembled - from R32 GTST - $300 RB25 intake manifold - bare - $? RB25DET std camshafts - $100 the pair (int/exh) RB25DET std throttle body - $50 All bits in Wollongong. If you want to know whether I have specific R33 parts, please arrange to come and look as I don't fancy sorting through the massive stack of interior parts I have here.
  4. And Stu wanted me to lose the power steering! No thanks!
  5. We'll be screwed if you can't find my CAS. Get on it, bruz!
  6. LOL!! Cross your fingers it's the former, Jase! Stuie from Bezerkly is well and truly on the case and once we find my cam angle sensor and bolt two pipes into position, there's really verry little else to do. I still don't understand corners though.
  7. Corners confuse me and my car will fire this week. Yep. We need babysitting. But you may as well have. Some junior dragster parents would put most circuit racing bitches to shame. It's like everyone is racing for sheep stations.
  8. With all the bitching in this thread, I would almost think that this thread needs to be moved to the drag section. Cliff notes: Zed's are boats Teh GTR lost Lotus/Honda resentment abounds A racetrack is no place for corners I think that just about covers it.
  9. Two actually.
  10. Knock sensors. Your LS3 probably has them too.
  11. Back into it today.
  12. Had the radiator serviced and a new cap fitted. It was more blocked than I thought so it should be all good now. Mounted and wired up the 2 x Maradyne thermo fans using both the factory switch and a manual override so I can have them on even if the engine thinks they're not needed. Also wired up the low-oil pressure switch and light and the Tech Edge Wideband unit and display. The backlight on the display is really good and dead-easy to read. Very impressed.
  13. BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA......<big breath in>....BWAAAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!
  14. I fit the 275/40's under the bum of my GTST so you won't have a problem on the 34.
  15. GTR drivers cheating? What? Surely not!!! Filthy GTR cheaterers!
  16. How is Powerade more Aussie than Gatorade?
  17. I know mate. It's less than ideal but unfortunately, that's all these boats allow for. Besides, pressure drops can always be made up for with some extra boost.
  18. Which tight bends are you talking about mate? The one off the turbo? Show me another way to do it or how mandrels would have helped and that's what we'll do. Also, you need to remember how the piping was done with the standard intake. This way takes about a metre out of the length of the pipe compared to the centre entry plenum.
  19. You're not the only one, mate.
  20. Don't need the expense of mandrels when the inside of these pipes is every bit as smooth. The changes in dimension on the intake pipe to the turbo makes no difference (and will be removed for racing anyway) and if the rest of the pipework was the same dimension as the outlet of the compressor cover, it'd be some bloody small pipe. It's all good. LOL!
  21. You're a big meany, uncle Stu.
  22. What what what?
  23. What?
