A new car used 1L/1000KM??? Did they eventually sort it out after 1 year? Stories like that make me never want to buy a brand new car. We did about 3 years ago and its been really good, but it was always in the back of my mind if something major went wrong car manufactures can make life very difficult. P.S. Sorry to go off topic. Regarding the bloke who started the thread, are you getting the leakdown test done. Surely a workshop could do this at short notice for you or even the engine builder could do it for you??

With regards to the RB26 TOMEI metal inlet manifold and throttle body gaskets, you've got the 6 throttle body gaskets and one inlet manifold gasket? If so I will take it for $40 posted to sydney. 0411 415 644. Rohin.

Someone did well over Christmas! Looks good. Should be great once done. Maybe try Cam gears in the future to make the -5's a bit more responsive.

I think he said no low ball offers. I would consider 46% of the asking price a pretty low ball offer! And I am sure he would have a que of buyers who could pick up asap at a sale price of $6K.

Well chances are its probably going to be this format going forward, which is a big shame. They scrapped the old james hardie 12 hour ages ago so when this came along I thought great. Now its changed again.

I originally thought this event was for the likes of improved production cars (at least thats what it looked like in the past). Now it seems to be all GT Cup cars of which half are Porche's. Am I right in thinking this event has changed this year? I was going to go up but after seeing the cars entered for the main event am having second thoughts. Don't get me wrong I saw the GT cars at GP last year and they were awesome but I would really like to see a more improved production type race. I know they have 20 min races on saturday But it was Sunday I am planning to go up.

I doubt you seize the shocks (Don't take my word for it though). Stands should go on strong points of the car. On mine the rear are on the subframe and on the front under suspension points. Do not try the chassis rails as they will instantly crush.

Whats a great price?? Maybe go for a set of -9's. Don't bother with standard r34 turbos as they still retain ceramic turbine wheels.

How would you loose performance? I'm not trying to be a smart ass, seriously am curious. I have two sets of manifodls one standard and one ported. Shouldn't I use the ported ones?

if there already on the car just leave it. If they weren't on the car you would just have the turbo flange on the manifold opened up to match the turbine housing flange. You wouldn't go to the expense of port matching the manifold to the head unless you were getting pretty competitive with your car.

Seems like a pretty good price. Given my car does not see many k's atm and I just did an oil change, how long would oil store for if they are unopened?

My car has been i storage for around 2 years. I just leave it on jack stands connect a trickle charger. Every few months take it out on the driveway start it up let it warm up (mybe around the block). Do an oil change every 12 months. In your case just put it on a trickle charger and slightly over inflate the tyres.
