  1. Sounds like a nice car. If its a 240 either get the price in money your after or keep it!!
  2. I doubt the car would sell quickly unless it went for 10k or so. Oherwise they would have been able to sell it now and give you the money. I love GTR's and own an r32 but in reality they are just getting very cheap even for great cared for cars. But the one you are looking at is an early 89 and to be honoest you could better than the car your looking at (unless it is under 12K). You spend another 5-8K and you could start looking at some real impressive gtr's. I'm not trying to bag the car your looking at bt thats my opinion. Anyway a 240z is still highly desireable. Is yours race car only or does it have rego and can be street driven? From your avitar looks quite nice. Put some pics up. What sort of money you chasing out of curiosity?
  3. I wish I haven't rego'd my car since my daughter was born 2.5 years ago. I last went for a drive to a Dyno Day where I met Terry_GT-R34 and his son. Also needs new timing belt /waterpump etc and to fix some leaking manifold gaskets. All of which I intend to do by end of winter. So after that love to come out and see some other ADM GTR's!! I'm in Rouse Hill so not that far.
  4. So you bought it back well done. Was and still is I'm sure a great car!
  5. Are you still selling the car? Is it coupe or sedan? How much?
  6. I remeber you had a silver ADM years ago, is this the same car? What setup do you have now?
  7. coupe or seadan? And post up pics.
  8. I knew thia wouldn't take long to sell! Nice car, great buy!!
  9. Same thing happended to me about 8-9 years ago. I ended up getting to quotesand they just gave the job to the cheapest out of the two. Whilst I was there I kept saying I should have a choice blah blah and they eventually just agreed. Otherwise if it was a big enough issue (major repairs etc) you can do it through your insurance and they wouold claim against AAMI wouldn't they?
  10. Given japan has bought back /repatriated a lot of its currency is thier currency going to get stronger? This along with the supply available makes me think things out of Japan are going to be more expensive. Time will tell.

    New Old Car

It doesn't get much more awesome than that! Nice Car!!! A guy who lives a street away from me has an R100, which I didn't know about until I saw it one day whilst his garage door was open. Now I purposely walk the dogs past his house just a get another peek at the thing. Wish he would leave the door open more often lol. He used to have a 33 gtst so I wonder if he is a member on here! Love old school!!!
  12. Yoou used to hear good things about this shop, I never dealt with them as I thought they were too pricey, but they had some happy customers. In more recent times I am seeing on here that people have had problems with them. Its pretty poor taking money from people once you know you can't deliver. I am sure they would have known a week or so before they closed down.
  13. Absolutley agree with that point as thats why I swapped my -5's for -9's.
  14. That story takes the cake for me and conjures up the best mental images. Definitely sounds like a Homer Simpson / Peter Griffin moment!
  15. Mind you to get a set of -9 with actuators you would be looking at $2700 being more than double the $1250. Sure they might be a bit laggier than stock but I would think they could put down around 280-300rwkw without too much hassle. I dunno I am curious too hear about these. I have a set of -9's waiting to go in but I was seriously considering these initially. When could you expect 1 bar boost with these? around 4500-5000 rpm?
  16. You are kidding aren't you??
  17. No doubt these older cars are starting to become appealing to me; but there is no way that I would sell my GTR for one. Sure values of GTR's aren't crash hot anymore but who cares. I am sure there was a point when people would not have cared at all for DR30 and older cars. Like all things its just a cycle. Give it 20 years and people maybe chasing for gtr's again..........maybe I personally doubt thats going to happen anytime soon, but hey I've been wrong about other things.
  18. Hi there, Were you able to find any of those guage surrounds in good condition? Rohin
  19. Usually they should provide you with a payout figure, which is good for a few days and then you can give them the funds by eft or cheque. DO NOT let the seller handle this issue. You could probably pay the whole amount to the finance company and they might refund the difference to their customer.
  20. I do remember seeing a ADM GTR for sale that had been retrimmed in a similar material, I am pretty sure it was this one. Everything else looks pretty genuine (speedo, indicators,). If the guy can confirm there's the Altezza cooler underneath then chances are i propably is ADM. But yeah something up with engine bay colour. Shannons have a good lay-up cover insurance policy which covers theft and fire. Thats what I have on mine till I get around to re-registering it. Let it lapse when daughter was born, now I just change oil and clean it.lol.
  21. So are you trying to fit two turbos designed for an sr20 onto an rb26? Some people like to do things the hard way!
  22. A few have popped up this year now. One owner, looks nice.
  23. Should be good to see! Any idea on the price of the crank / piston kit? Rohin.
  24. I can't find pricing for the step zero. Is 400,000 yen for the full kit or just crank and pistons. I noticed the full step 2 kit through nengun is close to $9K. Does the crank and piston kit still come with the rings and pins? So your still going to use GTSS Nick?
  25. Are you sure you didn't just get a slightly different set? I was always under the impression that they just bolted up and away you go as I don't think we have heard of these type of issues from others who have use them. I have always thought of buying a used set if/when they come up for sale as they look like a great product.
