Me and a freind were in my GTR and were going up george street down to the rocks. Every cop around looked at the car but didn't flag it down / pull it over, externally it looks stock except for wheels and exhaust, but we saw heaps of other cars getting flagged down near the orient hotel at the rocks. We were heading to the docks and some guy in oncoming traffic advised not to go there so did a U turn and left the city. P.S You didn't have to own a skyline or be a p-plater to get pulled over last night.

How much did you guys pay for your v-specs and when did you purchase them, just curious as from what I have seen a v-spec II in japan can still cost as much as a cheaper r34. I have an aussie spec r32 gtr and it too has a finned diff cover. Can anyone shed some light on this? Is it just a normal diff with a finned cover to try and improve cooling for australian conditions?

I have an aussie spec r32 GTR from the seventy litre tank I get around 450km and that is a mix of traffic and spirited driving. It has a power fc, boost is always set to 1 bar and exhaust and filter.

Hi there, I bought my r32 gtr august 2003 and it had 108k on the clock. A compression test came back with all 6 cylinders being between high 150's and low 160's. Maybe use this and other peoples info as a comparison

Would you accept $150 and I will come and collect them? I understand if you won't, but let me know either way.

I have had an R32 GTS-T, never an s13 though. I would say go the 32 but if you can squeeze it get an s14. My partner and I have an s14 and it is a much better car than 32 gts-t.

typical northern beach cops they where probably more stunned when you FORGOT TO GIVE THEM THEIR BRIBE. Just toddle on down to the police station and give it to them i'm sure that'll turn things around.

i've heard of this sort of thing before if you get nudged and the car behind is full of blokes don't get out just drive!

i had owned my r32 gtst for 3 and a half years up until 2 months ago when i traded it in on an r32 gtr. i had spent a fair bit on my gtst but when i drove the gtr there was not one thing on my gtst that could convince me to keep it over the gtr. In summary the gtr would be the better choice and at the end of the day you will have a beeter car. gts-t to gtr is becoming a natural progression for a lot of skyline owners.

i'm in sydney and i have a k & n element in the box from an r32 gtst if it is suitable for your car i'll part with it. if interested make an offer.

my brother had hi modded wrx (turbo computer suspension front mount wheels 3k in hks guages etc etc etc + a boot full of parts including trust t67 turbo kit new trust front mount twin plate clutch injectors fuel pump etc etc etc stolen out of the mechanics workshop after the shop was locked up. How convenient his was the only car left with the keys in it waiting just behind the roller door. they didn't take the evo 5 or gtr's around it just his. this is a legal battle that on going after 2 years, as neither there insurance co is taking liability for the parts, they say coz they keys where left in the car. THE SHOP LEFT THE KEYS IN THE CAR. NOW YOU EXPLAIN TO ME INARK WHY I SHOULD PROTECT THAT SHOPS NAME!

I've always heard good things about BD4's and $145 sounds like a good price, seeing as they have tuned some serious cars previously. Wouldn't recommend hills motorsports though,ESPECIALLY AT $600! pm for further details if interested.

how much for the air con system was the compressor working when you took it out?

sorry moot, no longer need it, just got electronic boost controller which has boost reading on it.

yeah you'll loose power but how much power do you want when being tested by the epa?

I think you can by those butterfly valve type silencers through perfect run for about $300. They are cable operatred from the cabin and are mounted between the cat and cat back pipe. noise level is controlled by closing and opening the butterfly via the in cabin cable.
