  5. Heya, just finished putting greddy catch can on can someone tell me where the small hose that comes off the factory BOV goes? The higher or lower connection on the plenum? It connects to the plenum, but i got them mixed up, there is 2 connections, both are an inch apart, one is supposed to connect to that carbon canister at the front of the car and one to the BOV At the moment i have it going from the bov to the bottom connection
  6. Where did you get the front+dump in one? CES? How much? You need to jack the front up and put on stands, dont leave on jack cos you need to yank at the bolts pretty hard The rest u just get from the top, i havent done it, been seen it being done, bolts are really hard to get off

  8. Make sure you use a good cutting agent to get all the old wax and impurities off the paint before waxing, it really brings the colour back to life if done properly
  9. ahh the mysterious double unicorn head Youll drop jaws left right and centre beating people in a station wagon :headspin:
  10. Yeh sweet that sounds perfect Only thing is i want to block the PCV valve, seems to have all benefits and no disadvantages from doing so So whats the best way to block the two holes/hoses? Im assuming just cut the hose going from the plenum to the rocker cover, and screw a bolt into the hose holes
  11. I have 255s on the back and i can sit at 180 with no vibration at all, i do have a heap of whiteline stuff on the car tho.. camber kit, sway bars, strut brace etc
  12. Shit! does than mean i have to pay $70 for it now?
  13. Whats the best way to block the PCV valve? Cut the hose and put a bolt in each hose end?
  14. My god, only in america
  15. Even with the pictures im still clouded as to which way i should use mine I found this photo, what does this setup offer?
  16. 90% of stickers are rice But if you actually have a peroformance part, and have some common sence on where to position the sticker, then i spose its ok.. If i bought a HKS T51R ide put all the HKS stickers i want, but for those who buy a blitz turbo timer and cover their car in blitz stickers suck ass
  17. ahhh! that supra picture hurts! I voted yes, I love any car that is constructed and performs well, but i have a passion for Skylines and Supra's I own a skyline, but that doesnt mean i dont wish to own a supra one day (after GTR ofcourse
  18. Ill see what i can do, $28K is alot more reasonable, ive got some friends who are fully on the V8 side of the fence, but they also like skylines so it guess its win win with this car
  19. haha love it Great guide Gordon, i was going to do a guide to install IC and AVCR cos i did them both in one day, but didnt have digicam.. owell
  20. Most catch cans only have 1 inlet 1 outlet, so for the ones where u need to attach 3+ hoses to it, do u just use a T piece etc?
  21. Ahh ok ok i just found it in the diagram in the manual i have to cap it or block it off sweet Did you connect the purple wire to Injector or RPM? I want to montitor injector duty but only to see how they are going, then ill connect the purple wire to RPM Also, it says in the initialisation i have to set the cylinders to 1 if ive used the purple wire to monitor injectors Time to go do some on road testing/tuning Thanks again
  22. ok i see what u mean, but that means the Yellow hose on your car goes nowhere too look down and see if you can see what he's done with it, standing over the front left guard its near where the actuator hose comes from just to the left It (yellow hose) joins onto the metal pipe about 1.5inches thick that goes up the back of the engine bay and joins onto the Blow off valve thanks heaps for all this buddy
  23. Cmon Guys!
  24. Ok thanks Well ive removed the standard solenoid and used the bracket to mount the AVCR solenoid which is perfect for it so what do i do with the yellow hose?
  25. Ive just finished installing an avcr, but im stuck on the solenoid installation Ive put up a picture can somone tell me if this is right, and where the Yellow line wire goes!? It joins up to the pipe that goes to the BOV, do i just T this into the COM side of the avcr solenoid or block it off? Ive fully removed the factory solenoid so its just left that hose there and i have no idea what to do with it Thanks for the help!
