I too run a 16inch daves graig thurmo fan inside the shroud my setup differs only in that i run a haltec ecu which is set to turn on the thurmo when the thurmo stat opens and runs till 5 degrees after it closesso it uses the engine temp sensers to maintain temp controll and had no probs with over heating even in traffic and only slightly up when dyno tuning Cheers Peter

Hi Guys just got back the results of the flow tests between the rb20 standard manifold and the hks cast manifold will mark these 1 to six front to back standard HKS cast 1. 159.7 170.7 2. 162.4 166.6 3. 160.7 178.7 4. 150.6 183.6 5. 149.9 182.2 6. 173.3 184.7 As you can see all flow pretty well and a marked inprovement over standard but you'll have to draw your own conclusions if the flow improvement is what your after for the cost although afe did state the these are very well made the casting quality was some of the best his seen and flow extremely well for a cast manifold a worthwile investment over standard and he was kinda wondering why they stoped making them . One other thing he said to me was not to tell anyone you have one as he said you'd probably surprise some people with the way the car goes even in standard form to say the least i think it impressed him and that statment coming from someone who deals with these sorts of things daily makes for an impressive statement Cheers Peter

im running a exceedy gtr clutch on my rb20det flywheel mated to an rb25det gearbox no problems and the old clutch also fits my old rb20det box Cheers Peter

So what has been the top rwkw for the rb20det in the thread so far from my reading its been 288rwkw or have i missed something ????? Peter

there is a difference in the blade width in the rb20/25/26/30 the rb30 one's ive seen are the same as the rb20 8mm width the rb25 i think are 9mm and the rb26 11 mm in width Peter

Hi R32_gts-4 550cc will get you the rwkw your after Matt tuned mine with 550 and there still on standard presure and im running 238rwkw on his dyno with other mods to though but if your running a to4 as i was i think u might be battling i had mine rebuilt twice and it still dont flow enough runs outa puff at 6800rpm and its rated at 500hp Cheers Peter

Hi Lithius Dom's car runs dont quote me on this Gt3071 turbo high mount 40mm external waste gate snd screamer 780cc injectors ,fpr.fmic,3' exhaust loud, forward facing plenum mod,haltec E11V2 ecu ,rb25 box and 5puck clutch and he was running hooser semi slicks My car Hks cams ,hks cam gears,hks manifold low mount ,35mm hks external waste gate plumbed back in b4 cat ,fpr,fmic,550cc srad injectors,stabdard air box with hks panel filter and cai to4e turbo but that is the problem dosnt flow enough for engine 2 turner have both stated same thing so must be true hence new turbo on order gt3040r and haltec E11V2 ecu .Both engines running standard bottom ends oh and i ran M/T ET street semi slicks that night to for those times. BOTH CARS TUNED BY HITMAN Roy If you call standard rb20det bottom ends as stock yes both cars are just bolt on's bitl my gearbox is rb25 though both cars are cant see an rb20 box taking that punishment my clutch is an exceddy puck clutch but organic it being the weakest link in the chain its stuffed now only 2000klm old to :-( Oh well new clutch again .Roy I'd bet you had a lot more wheel spin than ya mate of the line hence ur higher mph speed but his quicker time SARCUSM HERE" just "kick his butt next time you can do it Cheers Peter

Hi Guys both cars are R32s both rb20dets mine's running the et streets the other was running Hooser semi slicks Roy I ran higher mph on street tyres but 1.5 second slower times i think it might have something to do with tyre dia as the m/t's were 26x10.5x16 "si just fried the street tyres 1st ,2nd and 3rd Cheers Peter

Hmmm Why did i build mine ????
