  1. Nitrous, E85 - two much better ways to get that little bit more power Or just alter the dyno setting, for 40hp I'm not sure the need for the hair splitting...
  2. How do you know its not coming into another area of efficiecny and so on where the power gains are more than 10hp/psi? IMO much below 24-25psi and the turbo isn't really in its happiest place given i should have been running closer to 20-21psi on a 2.5ltr
  3. Yep, +1 My car doesnt have a compliance plate at all Sounds like the cop was full of shit. I bet VicRoads have the old VASS on file, if so get a copy from them and challenge the defect. Take the officer to court and make him understand he needs to educate himself. I've had to deal with that kinda thing many times (uneducated officers quoting law they dont understand)
  4. You take the speed reading, and power reading, and compare in excel if you cant work it out by looking It'll give you a nice relative graph with just 4 or 5 plot points
  5. On a RB25 i made 270rwkw @ 17psi with a GT3040 (600hp) in a .82 If you get a GT35, it'll be laggier, simple as that. Its a larger comp wheel so its going to be slower. Given then 600hp GT30 should do 330rwkw, you need more boost.

  16. Sounds like its just the oil pump mate. Get it looked at properly before getting too excited about rebuilds. Just a oil pump seal/replacement will be signifigantly less. As for a rebuild if you need it, Racepace. But i highly doubt you need one mate, sounds minor.

  18. Past 2 weeks we've had database issues, Christian is working on a more robust solution. Im sure he will get to that in due time. I know he's been working on it today.

  20. well T04Z cars would be making another 50-60rwkw given they usually run over 400 with ease. Having been in various cars, im pinned to the seat with -5s. obviously a bit more lag and another 50rwkw or so is going to feel different. If the big single is better as you say, then the -5 equipped cars wouldnt be doing the faster lap times compared to the guys with the big singles from other workshops close by
  21. Your GTR will have an extra what, 150kg? will be interesting indeed, my prediction is that of everyone else - you'll be slower than the budget guys
  22. Yes but come on Troy, you on the piss again or something? Guys are posting here, and doing such hard work with various rally/hill climb & so on using these "non-jap" name parts, saying its perfectly fine and legitimately so having gone through the ringer. These guys are running much closer to the edge on a road rally type thing than someone doing roundy roundy on a circuit. Any part can fail, big brand name or not. I've had Nismo stuff fail, Garrett, OS Giken & so on. Big names, big ticket prices - just how it goes!
