  3. There are dozens of threads on this topic already. You have a ball bearing R34 GTR, and you want to put crappy N1, bush bearing rebuilds in? cheap, nasty, dont go near it. Ok for the tightass R32 GTR owner just trying not to have a motor die, you are better off with Garrett -9s or similar if you are going to change turbos. And same again - these have been well covered if you take the time to have a 5min search. Thread on the exact product not even 2 weeks ago.
  4. 9 times outta 10 it's the dump pipe fouling the internal gate. Split dumps are very prone to it.
  5. As with all ECU base tunes - dont even think about making boost, light throttle, low RPM it'll be fine.
  6. IMO that was rather boring? Im not really seeing the interest in SC2 that WC3 has/had yet (for me at least anyway). I've been reading in depth how the matching system works, and initially its shithouse. It does improve overtime but how long that "X" is, no-one knows as Blizzard seem unwilling to disclose this information. I've managed to get from 35-40% upto almost 50% on RT now, taken a few games to peg it back but slowly getting out of the piles of shit in RT. AT is going well, 11-3 or something lol
  7. I do need a training partner... depending on what times you'd be free etc i could change gyms. depends on cost and stuff, i'll look into it - once i start though, no lazy business. 3 day min/week (prefer 4)
  8. NFI mate, my mufflers are custom made to suit (ie, big as possible). twin tips wont pose a problem, plenty of systems out there with twin tips and perfect flow
  9. Is the factory 3" with a 3.5-4" cat? No Larger diameter, freer the flow - the more the noise. Therefore you need mufflers. So of course the factory pea shooter is going to be much quieter. Obviously getting rid of the cannon will make a difference, however you might find it's not enough. So im setting the expectation that you'll need more than just that as honerstly i think you will. Everyone definition of "quiet" is different, so if you want something that is under say 90dB (which is a legal requirement), 9 outta 10 times you'll need dual muffler setup for 3" exhausts.
  10. heat shield is just there to stop radiant heat from affecting everything else in the engine bay - hence its called a shield. A beanie does essentially the same thing, and keeps heat in more obviously. Using one will not cause adverse affects. - so once again, use the SEARCH function, or simply read the thread MintR33 linked. Matt - either start searching before posting/thread starting, or you won't be allowed to.
  11. hrm if i register i might not even be able to see it lol - ill let ya know
  12. Probably just increase the drone, tad louder, nothing massively, but noticeable. Given your exhaust is probably already 94dB+ Go clean your ears out of drive around with the windows down. Its plenty loud enough and enoough to have a nice defect/EPA
  13. Post prices for items, or this will be locked. Forum rules are clear and simple
  14. post prices or this will be locked forum rules are clear
  15. Locked. Don't argue with me. I get to most threads, if i don't find every single one, lucky for them. Post up ONLY when you are ready to post FULL prices for ALL items. Simple as that.
  16. Go to the For Sale section, and read the rules. Once you have, feel free to post in that section. Thanks.
  17. Problem you have is not just the rear muffler. The resonator is not helping either, they are near on useless. To have a nice quiet exhaust, you need TWO mufflers of decent size. Free flowing is simple enough, just look inside it. If its straight, its free flowing.
  18. Search button is your friend, came up last week. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Bo...rs-t334510.html
  19. Someone i know has a Virgin/Bourke M/Ship, why do you ask? Apparently its pretty good, but then that was when it first opened and they had super cheap deals goin. I use fitness first either @ melb central or vic gardens depending on what im upto
  20. True, they would be close. However he wants to chase more power so I'd be dubious as to wether it'll get any better. Going up 100hp in comp size/flow, but down in turbine housing size... Can be a nasty mix.
  21. Not since around lunchtime yesterday you haven't, it's been resolved for forum posting since then.
  22. 2 threads below this... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Bn...ld-t333312.html R32 GTR build thread, already more info in thre than you'll get in this thread.
  23. Because his top end will still be choked with a .63 regardless?
  24. 100hp, 70kw Considering just fuel alone you get at least 30RWKW, pretty obvious you'd make what you want probably just on the fuel without anymore boost.
  25. It'll more than do the job. Most cars see 30rwkw or so JUST from the fuel. More boost, more fuel, you'll get what you want and more, much more.
