  1. With a 3ltr it will take a bit of cam compared to a 2.6, either way it is NOT the cause of your problems currently. Depends on what work gets done to the head etc as to what specifically you put in there. Yes you can play the uni card dude, but you don't build a 400rwkw setup working 4hrs flipping burgers @ maccers You don't need to change anything ATM to fix whatever issues you have, simply because you don't yet know what is wrong.
  2. lol, i had one for ages as well, been 18months though and times need to change
  3. Yes. You dont want any bits left behind ideally. How did you manage it anyhow? gapping the plugs incorrectly?
  4. Bush bearing combo would be 800-1200 Proper ball bearing unit would be 1600-2200 Many factors involved from who does it, what specs and so on. Personally, I'd go the ball bearing everytime.
  5. 1st post - you wanna just start porting/polishing By the 4th post you want to actually check whats going wrong... AMEN. After 12 months of us all (in FI section) telling you to get the current setup checked by a knowlegeable professional, it seems you are finally coming around! Stop with the "I want to change stuff" and start with the "I need to FIX my current setup first". We've been telling you for ages to get the cooler pressure drop & valve springs checked... No offence with the above, I'm just totally at a loss as to why you've still not done anything that anyone has recommended for over a year Trent - before looking much more into it, go over this guys past thread history and have a read of what people have tried to help with so far. 15mins reading will save you hours of rechecking
  6. Anyway, just a FYI - SAU-Vic members get a super priced discount on Audio install. You'd probably save more off the install then membership would cost
  7. Well good luck to him. As with other pointless "vs" threads, closed.
  8. There was more than spring rates and swaybars mate. There were underbody chassis mods and all sorts of business far as i am aware (as there certainly was with HR31's) Not saying the Group A's weren't fast in their day, but given the technology and advancements of today, i cannot see why you couldn't realistically do a better job.
  9. No, you the list of items that are OK, and the prices. Forum rules are clear.
  10. Is this the stripped/perspex window dark coloured R34 with pre emptive RH9 plates from '04/'05 or whatever that never ran a 9 and then disappeared? Or another RH9? (getting confusing these days )
  11. 100% agree. Use GTR rods as well, cost you less than $200 2nd hand
  12. Once they patch the shit, for clans/public chat and stuff like that the online will become better. Half the online is talking crap and stuff as much as the game itself haha. lol im plati or gold... i suspect i'll be in plati before long with my other teams as we are 23-10 or whatever in 2v2. The matching system is a bit silly. Same as bnet 1 - all about game massing. Heaps of plati teams are 50-50, and shit. We wipe the floor 75% of the time and were placed in silver to start, ended in gold like 10 games later. So id guess 2-3 more games plati and diamond wont be far away, maybe another 20-25 wins.
  13. As discussed Ben - IN. I'd need to change gyms, but hell if i can get a reliable gym buddy or two, then it'll be worth it.
  14. Umm, you are paying someone else to build it you mean
  15. Skylines have room for two very decent sized mufflers without a drama in the world. You can get 3" exhausts down under 84-86dB (90 is legal). No need to waste time with resonators.
  16. Two resonators? Better off putting in another muffler.
  17. As per the membership application, which clearly states, please allow 15 business days for processing. It's been about, 8 i do believe This stuff takes time mate. We do it in our own time after work etc. Thanks Ash
  18. Should have taken the defect to court instead & written a letter.
  19. I love when this happens! Your promotional "1000 words" picture says "The only E85 mixed with a Corrosion Inhibitor" Yet now... Oh dear... I sense disturbance in the force
  20. You will need a Z32
  21. traction actually means it takes longer I found with 2.1 60ft i was doing 110-111mph With 1.9 60ft i was getting 108-109mph simply because you get to the other end faster Lower ET's generally follow lower 60ft in the same car
  22. Your choice of parts of very good and it'll be nice Just clutch might be a problem if not already done
  23. 280rwkw is a nice safe figure that many have run for a good amount of time without issue. People have made more, however they are few in numbers and some are not daily driven @ that power either.
  24. I'm surprised the tuner didnt look into it all before the E85 tune to be honest.
