  1. Testing for what? The iPhone is not supported by us/IPB. No need for additional sections
  2. Just confirming a table of 10 - should have it worked out in a day or two and will EFT
  3. Results - same as anyone else in the RB25 dyno thread 190-200rwkw on a factory turbo
  4. Twin turbo does not follow the firing order (in terms of GTR), where twin scroll is meant to given the parted collector/rear housing difference - who knows, maybe a few hundred RPM? You aren't talking 1000's of RPM of response either way.
  5. 10kw is the same shit to me Its been proven by a number of people with over 400rwkw/awkw that any differences are so negligebile its not worth splitting hairs over. This is with a factory transfer case etc. With a modified transfer case, its a different story but most punters are not in that category
  6. How was the response like compared to say a set of -9's which are around the ballpark for that power? You could say -5's but they are closer to 400 @ the tyres.
  7. A nice engine conversion... counts as a modifications.. So guess what that means?
  8. Ye now the hardware is out there it'll mass clone and you'll never be able to stop it. To expect to use online with a crack, is silly anyway. Friend of mine who mods concoles is gearing up i believe
  9. Oh and my figures quoted are without a O2 sensor, its disabled O2 sensor is not engaged a fair poriton of the time
  10. N1 motors really are not worth the money/value the price tag attracts as they still have all the major flaws.
  11. Of course they do. They don't make specific bolt-on turbos for R32 or R34's Only difference is the O2 sensor.
  12. Just means he wasted time puttingh RB26 cams or something into a RB25 head - as that is all such a conversion is, waste of time You can do anything you want really, just need money. As for the mods actually being beneficial/worth the time, that is a whole other story.
  13. No offense - do you know how to read a dyno sheet? You have 254rwkw @ 6750rpm. Not 3200rpm. You have ~135rwkw @ 3200rpm You also have boost control issues.
  14. It'll be loud enough for you to attract the wrong attention Famous last words Most of us have been there/done that mate (mine was 110db+ hehe). End of the day it is your choice, if it were any other state I'd just say get it... But Vic is just the ultimate of ass pain these days and it all starts with exhaust noise.
  15. Seeing as though you are in Vic - i'd go with something legal. I'd take a stab and say what you are looking at would be over
  16. That said im not a fan of HP laptops - they pack their products with far to much spam/bloatware I'd look to something form Toshiba personally in that price range and see if you can find something that comes close
  17. Bear in mind when gaming, you'll be lucky yo get 45mins out of it before it shuts down. A friend of mine with a i7 lappie & new GPU has similar issues. 30mins and it's pretty much flashing up warnings Agree - HP is the better choice - you still want a 64GB SSD and maybe one 500GB HDD (HDD just for extra storage). SSD's are night and day difference for laptops. I'll be jamming one into my next PC build now they are coming down in price nicely
  18. aw/rw = same shit anyway.
  19. Access will be sorted when i get home tonight Been on a few days holiday.
  20. Is it just me or is stuff listed twice in that blob of text in the first post? Either way, format it better - and i will have a read. ATM its just too messy mate and hurting my eyes. I notices briefly a SSD wasnt listed, for a laptop in todays day and age, SSD's are the only choice IMO.
  21. Clearly he did not OP - Please read the dyno sticky thread, or simply search the turbo ID. There is that much info in these pages on 3071/3076's that will keep you reading for a month if you want.
  22. You dont need a surge tank, the stock GTR tank is fine. 380rwkw GTR's running semi's - no issues with nothing more than a replacement intank pump. Go with a replacement intank pump. Simple, easy, less fuss.

  24. Geoff brought snowys old factory turbos - i think he got like 1,000kms out of them or something before they let go and took his motor with them (this is going back a few years now) So they can indeed fail... It's just that most R34 GTR owners dont run them that high, for that long. I think we will see more examples as time goes on of this occuring.
  25. Not really - they are just newer, doesnt mean they wont/cant fail in the same fashion especially considering you dont know what was going on before you got it. too much heat = bye bye turbo. could happen to near new turbos IMO
