  1. Got this OEM RB26 headgasket for my 3025neo, during delivery it must of got picked up the wrong way and has a little ripple around the cylinder part. Should I tap this down and use it or just get another gasket incase it leaks?
  2. tuning on 98 is different world to E85 though, the magic happens with E85...
  3. I think they've done as good as they can with 98, if you ran some E85 I think you'd get what your looking for.. you'd have 40 or more killawasps more from 4000rpm and a more lively bottom end, probably 450kw's at top end and be happy... just have to buy some E85 once a month..
  4. What's the boost controller set to? There's a few very similar setup's in the RB30 dyno thread, a 6262 with 0.83 rear doing 450 or something but E85 23psi flat
  5. How much boost/power can you go with 98ULP? I know my RB25 was on the limit at 280kw's, tuner said any more and the valves will start burning, but on E85 it was , "so where you wanna stop here?" , laughs all around it was ridiculous what numbers where being pumped out...
  6. V8's are overrated, Just set that RB up properly, look at the results with FP turbo's, an FP35 combo would give you what you want both response and top end with right housing, just look at 34GeeTee's results with only a FP3076 on an RB25, he got 390kw's with big mid range, with a 3.2L and FP35 it could be a perfect match...
  7. This might be the way you end up going pete, nothing wrong with this boost curve.. https://youtu.be/VLqp1vrTD0I
  8. so flutter is basically the same as surging which stuff's the bearings/cartridge??? Do the aftermarket ones flutter on low boost still or silent at all boost levels??
  9. get the dam blind off him and get SS2 off stao, done.....haha
  10. Hey pete, got a vid of some 600hp GTR's , give you some motivation to get on the track and enjoy... lol...
  11. If were mine I'd be going to JEM for future work, seen enough guys on here get results, I might even take the drive from QLD, hahah, nah too far..
  12. have to see it through pete!! I just got to know..
  13. thread needs more pics and vids Glad your happy with it pete, that's a strong power curve...
  14. Better off with a set of poncams and some E85/water meth..
  15. I have a 9.6:1 falcon that gets 200psi , put a straight edge over the top of the block in multiple directions and check with feeler guage for distortion?
  16. They are probably just putting the head back on now pete, takes more than a few days to strip a motor again, lol... apprentice stuffed up again..
  17. A FP35 could be doing this power with insane response....
  18. I know someone that's running one on 12psi and pulling hard too, no problems but don't know how long that will last, yes I know pretty silly and ive told them too, it has a mines ecu which is probably running very rich, its a rocket though!!
  19. next mod pete, E85 and dropped off to JEM, report back with 450kw's lol
  20. ah ok, I had a non neo RB25 and on 98 it made 280kw on 16psi, then jumped to 320kw on 16psi on E85 that's with a GTX3076 so I thought the GTX35 would be hitting it out the park on 22psi... I guess dyno's and engines are all different though, my GTX was bang on same boost for rev's to the GT but the push in the seat was felt a bit later... Your right about them waking up with boost, I was playing with boost controller, it spiked up to 25psi in third gear and was frying the back tyres, later I found cylinder 5 didnt like that event lol...
  21. After all that rich running and being stuffed around for so long, if it were mine id take it to jez or JEM for second opinon's?
  22. why so much boost for that power? is it an auto..
  23. Should get someone that lives near the workshop to go check it out, give them a 6pack to report back lol...
  24. They blew it up on the dyno and preparing for pete and his lawyers lol
  25. Did you ever smell any burnt coolant smell's ? they'd need that long if they had to strip the motor and fix a cracked head or similar, Big name business like that probably never respond to emails unless its to do with parts or money owing...
