I'll make sure I come over & have a chat next time Dave. Going to DECA? What's the turnout there normally?
-
WOW! What a fantastic day. My 1st track day & I'm hooked. Good to meet some members - John & Chris. Big shout out to Arron at ImportMonster for the Volk Challenge 18's & RE55's on Friday afternoon. Certainly wouldn't have got a 1:39 without them. The only question is can I get an oil cooler on(read:$$$)before DECA? Also, apologies to the bloke in one of the Silver R33's. I got a bit too keen under brakes into Turn 1, then missed 3rd @ the apex. Sorry & I would have tooted my horn too. BTW anyone get fuel from Caltex in Benella? I had slight detonation above 8Krpm. Only happened after I put in the 20 lt jerry can of Caltex in the afternoon.

Wrecking R32 Gtr... Leftover Parts
yug_r34 replied to WHITE R32's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I've got a R32 shell that I'm doing up for a track car & need heaps of electrical bits. Definately all computers from the boot (hicas, attessa etc) & G-force sensors in the cab. Probably part/complete loom. I'll check the shell tomorrow & let you know about the loom & if there's anything else. -
Ace thanks for tips. CAMS L2S license is on the way, I ticked the "quick approval" (or something like that) box on the CAMS form, so we'll wait & see. What's recommended for holding the bonnet down?

Dogsh1t! Looks like I've missed out this time. But I'll be at the Winton round with bells on. Any suggestions for a 1st timer? & what do you wear? Race suit?

He has right of refusal.

Mate's building an RB25 up so he's looking for some GTR rods. How's $100 delivered? Nice even figures.

I was travelling down St Kilda rd on Saturday & saw the driver in front of me get flashed at the same intersection, the lights had just turned amber as she entered the intersection. I thought maybe a faulty camera until I read GTTR34's post. Just hang in there for the time being.

Bec, I'll be there. Can I grab my jacket at the same time please. Ta.
-
Ok, sorry about the delay, but I'm cashed up now. I got the bank to put my member # as reference. Pick the jacket up next meeting if that's ok? Thanks.

I've got some HKS pod filters & adaptors to suit standard AFM's. I'll have to check what else. Pm if interested.

As the topic states, the block in my GT-R has cried enough! Not a huge crack, but enough to weep from the water jacket. It had 88mm pistons in it & Ben & I had our fingers crossed but must have needed to cross my toes too......although it was making 380rwkw+ when it went, not bad for 2530's So now I'm chasing another block. The crank & rods are reuseable apparently, it's barely done 5000kms since rebuild, so new block, 86.5mm pistons, balance, reassemble, bolt the head on & try again. Anyone out there got a block that they'd be willing to part with???? Short motor is ok. Ben has said he will be able to use the crank & rods somewhere along the line. PM me Thanks.

Hi all. Brought up the home page, not logged in. Using IE 6.0. The trojan turned off my Mcaffee virus scan, but not the firewall. Thank god for firewalls.
