    Drive Safe

no need to be worried, you don't have to drive recklessly in a car at night on a tight road to have fun just stay on your side of the road and we'll both be fine - that seems to be the biggest cause of accidents on mountainous roads and my main concern

    Drive Safe

gees thats horrible i agree with the slow down message in this thread, but more importantly imo be careful who and what car you choose to be taken for a joy ride in

    Drive Safe

+1 if it was reckless driving, it's a hell of a thing to have to think about it this is the reason i flat out don't carry passengers when i go for drives in the hills
  6. there were 2 models for 2009 and 2010 - a base (black seats) and premium (red/black seats) pics show it's an aussie 2009 - you can tell by the + and - buttons under the nav screen which was the old style analogue screen jdm versions has 2 japanese characters
  7. You can get the updated shifts and launch (or choose any LC) via the Cobb accessport I'm on lc4 atm as lc5 is way too high rpm. The improved shifts are very noticeable, especially at low speed A must have for pre my 11 cars
  8. There have been no internal engine or turbo changes The gain in power has come mainly from oem ecu tuning (plus some minor exhaust changes and larger turbo inlet pipes - aftermarket versions of both will nett you more power anyway). So basically same mods on any year will produce same power at end of the day
  9. Revozport matte carbon front lip to suit 08-10 CBA Only 1 in Australia, and custom manufactured for me in matte carbon finish Has only been dry fit on my car, and has never been driven. Absolutely zero scratches/marks This is a direct replacement for your oem plastic lip Item available for pickup only Fairfield VIC - $1,200 ono NB: Ducts and hard piping are already fitted on this lip. Not included are the flexible tubes to go from lip to caliper. These can be purchased from Revozport direct, and ill put you in contact with who you need to speak to should you require these pics/info here http://gt-rr.com/pro...09-2011&id=1678 actual pics
  10. ive seen the LFA doco Toyota designed a new way of weaving cf just for the LFA - huge special
  11. unfortunately you had that sti right around the time they were targets by the ford/holden mob and stood out like dogs balls with big wings and gold wheels they seem to be alot more accepted now plus alot of cars these days have wings and coloured wheels when i was daily driving my m3 convert a 4-5 years ago, and even the c63, people wouldn't let me merge/change lanes, would take their time on purpose at fuel stations, cut me off, was a real eye opener......would be even worse today id imagine with economic crisis and looming 2014 recession
  12. you don't have to be too paranoid about parking a 35 generally most people see the Nissan badge and give the thumbs up it doesn't carry the same stuck up brand image as a euro car where people are itching to key it
  13. There's more than 15 on carsales atm Why would you bother importing a jap spec with all buttons, gauges and displays in Japanese, nav and radio not working, spending the additional cost complying with ADR's, gst and stamp duty on delivery, then taking a huge hit when it comes time to selling because no one will buy an import over an ADM Despite the appealing in japan only auction price, at the end of the day, the figures just don't add up
  14. hmmm not sure why nissan are replacing your driveshaft after so little kms this is the flywheel housing http://www.speedforsale.com/nissangtrparts/nissan-oem-nissan-oem-flywheel-housing-p-1787.html?osCsid=uhxnoubuikc
  15. yeh it's the whole unit around $800 USD
  16. Willal have a fix to save your bell housing before its too far gone In fact they can open the box and fix just about anything I really don't see why owners need to be so scared of failures that may/may not happen The potential in this motor is criminal not to exploit with aftermarket parts
  17. lol at 12k uber exaggerated dealer costs at their finest the housing can be bought for around 1k shipped
  18. Martin can you confirm if it's the my12 or my13 that has been re-designed iirc those replacing with my11 were just getting the same part again?
  19. Yeh standard practice for defect parts to go back I have an imperfection in plastic grain on a door trim on my evo, Mitsu aus are happy to replace full door card under warranty but won't let me do the install, so I ended up just buying it
  20. yeh there's no issues if it's just making some noise most R35s are driving around with rattles and owners don't realise it's an issue it's not too hard to do, just requires removal of alot of parts mine makes a bit of noise ive been told, but tbh imo its been making the same noise since i drove it off the showroom floor. i might have to do it at some stage but would prefer to do it myself at my own mechanic if/when what seemed to really quieten my car was doing the cobb tcm update, gear shifts up and down are so much smoother and quiter
  21. so you did the 20,000 km service at 3500km? i thought i was bad doing the 20 at 15k launching has nothing to do with it, it's a design fault
  22. damage via ceva is a lottery trucked a rangey from wa and all 4 corners were damaged, shipped the alfa 8c from syd and they used a closed transporter with zero damage - lost sleep on that move as that car is irreplaceable there is a guy who advertises in unique cars, and ive been told he's the best to use....but natch not as cheap as ceva re camera, i had the oem clarion camera (japan dealer option and completely plug n play) but picture quality was dreadful. i now have a kit i bought off a nagtroc vendor (http://www.carkitcompany.com/) which is plug n play, but requires you to get behind the mfd screen - he also supplies instructions to set the grid pattern values up ive had cars with the camera in the mirror, location is brilliant but ultimately the screen is too small
  23. I'm running deatschwerks 950's in the GTR and id1000's in the Evo - I tend to choose an injector based on what the tuner prefers to tune on
  24. you need bigger injectors + fuel pumps as e85 requires more flow than regular fuel, and the car to be tuned for it
